Gong gave me structure to measure the quality of my calls

What do you like best about the product?
I like all the different stats. Gong has taught me a lot and made me aware of certain things. My favorite stats are interaction stats, patience, and team stats. I also like listening to other's calls, I take a lot of their best lines haha. I also love listening at 1.5x-2x speed, this allows me to listen to tons of calls. This is for anyone who's serious about improving sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't looked too deeply into the topics and trackers. I would like if there was a 0.5x or 0.75x as well sometimes its a good change of pace, especially if it was important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped me do my job better. I know some others on my team that use Gong but my guess is more than half don't or rarely use it. Most are too tired after a full day of calls to listen regularly. I would recommend Gong to anybody serious about building a sales army!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is like having a sales coach 24/7. It allows your team to reach their full potential.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Gong. At first I was a bit apprehensive about having my calls recorded but the transcripton and the to do actions that are emailed to me after the call are so helpful and incredible.
The analytics to dive into the content and review the call by keywords also helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to send to do actions to customers and colleagues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information sharing and call recording. Improve Sales leads and ability to follow up

What do you like best about the product?
Recording where I can go back and listen to what was discussed. It is amazingly nice to know the stuff which was discussed and could write the meeting notes. Also, Very happy with the notification it sends before and after the meeting which helps to keep track of the meetings.

I can pause and do my rewriting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Screen size even when do full size it shows a narrow window. I have tried doing multiple times to have a fit screens size but I have to then maximize the screen size to have a proper vision.
Also, I believe in the recording itself a Text to speech bar should be added where automatically it should roll down as per the conversation. What I have to do is either to watch the recording or switch to the text mode.

I believe giving both of them together would add much value and useful for the user. Also, There should be a word filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even when meeting is done I can go back to the recording and could write the follow up email and could note down precise follow up action items.

It is amazingly nice to know the stuff which was discussed and could write the meeting notes. Also, Very happy with the notification it sends before and after the meeting which helps to keep track of the meetings.

Also, In the gmail the gong emails can be filtered out so need not remember each and every meeting time.

It is just amazing

What do you like best about the product?
been ramping @ grafana over the past month
- listening to calls on my mobile has helped me ramp faster
- having team members, mgrs listen to provide feedback, clarifying questions has allowed me to win faster
What do you dislike about the product?
- occasionally it will disconnect from my inbox and i'll have to reconnect but that is a minor thing that should get resolved
- if gong could take out the meaningless chatter @ the start that would be nice but a quick fastforward is an easy fix
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- ramping faster
- better insight into deals
- training across the sales, cx, solutions eng salesforce

how are your reps / mgrs collaborating on deals today? likely only on deal reviews that leave the reps feeling unheard and frustrated by top-down mgt

Incredible ease of use

What do you like best about the product?
When I would review an employee's call before we started using Gong, I would usually end up transcribing as much of the call as possible (often just in short-hand) while listening to the call in order to get a more clear picture of the call's overall structure. For obvious reasons, this was a time-consuming endeavor. Now that we have Gong, however, calls that previously took about 45 min to review now take me about 20 because of the awesome transcript that Gong provides for each call! This means that I have more time to review more calls for employees resulting in increased coaching and feedback going out! I also really appreciate the tracking functions built in to allow you to see which employees have received call coaching in a set time period. This allows us to make sure each employee gets the same minimum amount of calls reviewed in a month so that their development is supported and so that we can give better service to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that when you made a comment on a call and make it viewable by a specific person/people that the person submitting the comment would also be automatically included in the specific group of people. It isn't difficult to add yourself as a specific viewer but would be nice if it was automatic. That way when you go back to review your comments on a particular call you would be able to see it even if you didn't select yourself as a specific viewer. Really, such a minor thing if I really had to be nit-picky. Otherwise the product is awesome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased coaching to employees which has lead to improved development and improved service to our customers. We have been able to standardize the call coaching that is going on across the department because we now have visibility into which managers are doing a ton of call coaching versus which managers need to increase their call coaching.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is recorded and easily accessed and shared both internally and externally. No longer do you have to rely on badly written call notes or from memory. Also, helps to hold everyone accountable and honest in all dealings. Keeps you on top of your game and provides an excellent learning tool to listen to areas during the sales cycle where you can improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Gong could be integrated with Salesforce. Other than this right now its has everything and more than I have ever needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability, transparency, training/development CYOA

Its a no-brainer! You will not regret it

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it super easy for anyone that is customer facing or not customer facing for that matter to analyze their own calls. You can use it as a coaching tool, as well as a tool to send snippets of calls to clients as well. Just a great tool all together!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything that I can complain about Gong. Been using it for 2 years and still love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving challenges around discussion points with prospects in calls or just analyzing calls in general. Our newer reps use Gong to study senior employees calls as well which is also helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
The entire GONG team is a joy to work with. They genuinely care about their customers and go above and beyond to help solve problems alongside me. I feel like my CSM is an extension of my Operations team.

The team is a bonus as the product is top notch. They are constantly evolving and seamlessly adding features to the tool that are highly valuable. GONG is an instrumental tool in our tech stack and is used by the entire company.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides or issues to report. Very pleased.

What do you like best about the product?
How quickly clips download, ability to snip and send great for coaching purposes or to recall critical data otherwise forgotten in the course of regular conversation
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven’t found the ability to delete Gong recordings in the event that a meeting gets cancelled or client ends up not showing a few minutes into the meeting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to fine tune your cadence during future conversations by looking back at past conversations. Immediate benefits realized is becoming more focused on letting the customer talk increasing their talk ratio.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool continues to impress everyday it’s a must have for any sales team especially ones using video conferencing. Ability to see and share videos and clips is second to none.
