Essential Sales Coaching Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I've managed SMB to Enterprise reps and everyone can benefit from this tool. The integrations into pretty much every calendar, tele-provider, video conferencing tool, etc. makes it super easy to launch. From there, the UI is just clean and simple. As a manager, there are features that are essential:
- Easily see who's talking more; your rep or prospect
- Quickly gauge most popular topics or phrases, i.e. pricing, or maybe you launched a new product
- The ability to provide feedback and it just auto tags the time
- The ability to store best calls in a library
- The ability for you to tag other team members to hear the call (i.e. @billy check out how @susie absolutely nails this discovery call)

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Sometimes the transcript isn't perfect, but it's hard to find things that are lacking in this product. It really just comes down to implementing and coaching your reps to use the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it to implement new training and call tracks, coach reps on the sales process, and discover what are the top complaints or praise we hear from our customers. In addition, we can easily pull some insights on what top reps are doing vs our middle performers. It's become clear it's an essential tool in our SMB and Mid-market sales orgs, less so in Enterprise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've got a growing sales team, this is one of the best ways to coach them up and find out what your best reps are doing. Highly recommend and it's worth the investment.
Most helpful tool for someone working in Sales.
What do you like best about the product?
The analysis and point of interest. I don't need to take any notes on my calls or use another tool to write down the points of interest when speaking with customers on VC. This way on the call the customer has my full attention and I can watch it again later to find the main points of interest plus any follow-up actions I may have missed or not noted. It is literally a lifesaver. I can also watch other people on my team to learn new techniques and call flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I will say I'm not fond of is when the recording chimes in to say 'this call will be recorded'. It always pops in right in the middle of someone speaking and can be a bit off-putting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less note-taking. More engagement when on a VC. I can watch myself back and learn from each call and see what I need to change. I can review different topics discussed and I can share with my team for constructive feedback as well.

Brilliantly simple and effective
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easily Gong integrates with our current sales stack and allows me to seamlessly, record, review and analyse my calls. It's really easy to share calls with prospects as recaps too and I love the realtime feedback you receive after calls for things like talk ratios.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes with hangouts it can be a little delayed jumping in to the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to record, review and analyse calls was previously a laborious task, Gong has replaced the manual recording and streamlined how we analyse calls.
Powerful Sales Coaching Tool
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Gong is the sophisticated reporting and data analysis that it provides for my sales team. I believe that sales people want to be coached with supplemental data and appreciate when leaders make recommendations based on this information. Time and again Gong validates the best practices that are tried and true with awesome reporting!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to the customization of reports. But the support team has been fantastic in helping me get the information I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A major initiative for my team has been to improve the quantity of their discovery calls and the quality of those calls. I use a question report in Gong to identify how many calls my reps conduct with 10+ questions. We emphasize the importance of asking the right questions on every discovery call and this report helps me see which reps appear to be doing this best. I can also see a correlation between our top and low performers based on the rankings from this report. It's really interesting data and has provided a powerful data point to coach to.
I never really understood the big deal about GONG.... Until I used it
What do you like best about the product?
The IOS mobile app is BOMB. I can review calls when traveling to accounts or commuting. No time wasted!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some sort of Evernote integration would be helpful. The ability to easily 'internally GONG' an internal call would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients think I have an omnipotent memory, my followup is so much better, I can focus on the call and listening in the moment instead of taking copious notes during the meeting. The app is helping me drive next steps in my pipeline with higher velocity.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to tag and share critical feedback with our product team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sometimes it doesn't record the calls connected via zoom.

We're able to have smoother handoffs with Gong. Love it.
Wonderful tool for CSMs
What do you like best about the product?
Gong records your calls which has been helpful for sharing calls with my customers, for going back to listening to a section that I wasn't able to take good notes on, making sure I didn't miss anything in terms of next steps. I can also listen to other team members calls to listen and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing on the top of mind. I found the product to be very useful

Making sure that I am not missing any follow up with customers. I've been able to listen to calls with customers from employees who are no longer with us, which allows me to know exactly what was promised and by who.

What do you like best about the product?
I am obviously late to the game but have never had a recording software before. Ramping by listening to the rest of the teams calls, being able to listen back to my own, and get feedback remotely from sales leaders and other team members after the call is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the recordings will not start until I start presenting my deck so I miss some of the recording.

Gong is a game-changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Right after the call, you get results not only on how your call went, but whether your stats were in line with the top sellers. It's super helpful to know where you stand and that is imperative to improving your skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcriptions are not the best. Needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to go back and listen, but to scan for the word or phrase you are looking for saves hours of time. The stat comparisons help you grow.
