The transcript and call analytics is fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
I like the transcript feature. It helps me prep for calls. I also like to use it to share snips with the customers. It is helpful for everyone to be able to see or hear the conversation back to them. It is also great to be able to share with other shake holders that might not be able to get on a call. you can always get more buy-in when everyone sees the same information. I am also a big fan of the request feedback feature. I like to have more than just my manager listens in to my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature isn’t very user-friendly. It is also not easy to jump right into the correct call when you searched for the information. It isn't a huge deal, but if I had to make a recommendation, I would recommend having the search feature evaluated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps me honest with myself. It is natural for people to want to self evaluate. You can't rely on memory to get it done. you have to see what you said prior by looking at the transcript or listening to the call. We are also using this for accountability. Knowing that anyone can jump into a call and help evaluate, keeps you on your game. It has been beneficial to the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need to understand how much your teams are on calls and there is value in being able to review the call.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides transparency through the customer journey and lifecycle. I can clearly listen to the conversations happening and the customer needs/interests from their first interactions with the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The searching capabilities are very robust, and sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for if you don't know how to properly search within the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped immensely with onboarding. Rather than needing to bother my colleagues with requests to shadow their calls, I can instead just listen to their calls after the fact. I was also able to listen through an entire customer journey from beginning to end which provides more transparency into customer needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can go back and listen to your call to take notes. Also, sharing with others to better inform how the conversation went. You can also have your manager listen to your calls to bet advice on how you can do better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far - I've only had good experiences with Gong
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reminding customers of what they said, closing deals on a sales team, sharing great calls with team members to get advice or to fill other team members in on conversations

There is so much you can do with Gong so make sure you listen in trainings!

It's so nice to not have to write everything down anymore, you just turn on Gong and listen later.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Gong is a great tool, and I would recommend it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to really focus on the call at hand. I don't need to worry about writing down someone's name or something important. Gong records it and allows me to easily find it later. I can also share calls with customers, which is great!
Great for growing your sales skills and closing deals

Being able to revisit my calls and listening to prospects' nuances and subtleties I may have missed

It's hard for me to use the search bar to find what I want to listen to

Now I don't have to take notes mid-call and can focus more on the prospects

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review calls for key points. As many salespeople will recognize, keeping track of a large number of accounts can make it hard to remember every conversation you have. Gong allows you to review calls to ensure that you are on track with your clients goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes not every call is logged for each account. This makes it difficult to fill in blanks in between calls.

Showing clients that you remember their key needs during every meeting

The ability to search through calls by key word is really helpful. You can also review transcripts of all calls.

I love how interactive you can be with your managers. Its instant feedback on exact moments in a conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, keep it up. I think it’s super intuitive.

I’m solving problems everyday. Listening to my calls helps me improve on the phones and has lead to more success as a BDR.
Great at reviewing calls for client engagement
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to tag people and review specific areas of a call. Great for management to give feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found nothing that I dislike at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the inability to review and tag specific area of my calls. The benefits of being able to pin specific areas are unsurpased. Notating is great and functionality is smooth and easy.
Gong has changed my sales life
What do you like best about the product?
going back and being able to not only listen to others calls.. But my own calls. Listening to my own mistakes makes me better.
What do you dislike about the product?
when you go back to the library - takes me to the top of the list of recent calls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listneing to my own calls - listening to my tone and how much I am speaking vs the customer.

the ability to see your mentors / colleagues comments in the side bar. We share these across the company and store them in our internal database for future reference for new employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
would love to know how I'm performing against my peers. perhaps a monthly snapshot of my stats vs goals

not having to write down everything the prospect says. I can revisit a discovery call from months ago
