Easy to use, impossible to live without!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Gong is that I'm able to read transcripts in addition to watching and listening to my calls. The transcripts are surprisingly accurate, and Gong's AI tools are incredibly valuable in reminding me about action items, next steps, and so forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about using the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the issue of sales effectiveness - by listening back, I'm able to be a bit better each time. A major benefit I have realized is that I'm able to hold both myself and my prospects accountable. They also love getting a shared version of the recording to share internally, and it really helps us get internal buy in when other stakeholders can't join a demo, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tools is absolutely worth it - just make sure you're following up with your sales team to make sure they're taking advantage of it. If they make it a habit, it will go a long way!

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting feature. It's essential for following up with prospects that we have previously spoke to and expected a follow up.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be better integrated with our outreaching programs, so we are not dealing with the applications independently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issues with on-boarding new reps are being solved. We don't have enough written material to draw from, but with filtering Gong calls, we may coach and educate new hires.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get into the reporting functions of Gong early. Use them in training.
My experience with gong has been amazing. What a sophisticated tool this is!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how clear and precise Gong is, both the recording and the transcripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly love everything about it but if I had to pick one thing it would be the wait time to process the recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is huge in my business, I work in retention and I can pull calls and see if people are lying to get free stuff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this very sophisticated tool as a resource to record calls and use these calls for coaching, legal purposes and just to reference back before sales calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the feedback the system gives in regards to time spent talking, listening, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that it is not specifically tailored for our industry. However this is understandable, the program is 95% relevant so can't really complain.

Amazing way to capture a call, and transcribe nearly perfect notes!
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the Call Notes, being able to go back and find a certain word or phrase is so helpful. The days of typing notes during a call and having my lead hear my keyboard clicks are over! Also that my team can go in and listen to my calls prior to their own has been so beneficial to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ONLY thing I dislike is the disclaimer in the beginning of the call. It can be a little awkward when you are mid "Hello" and the voice starts saying "This is a recorded call...."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has impacted my work by allowing my supervisors to listen to my calls and give me exceptional feedback and that they can help me with follow up by listening to the exact questions asked instead of my interpretation from my note-taking.

I highly recommend Gong to any sales or product team. Being able to record calls and notes for new prospects, customer interviews, and more is priceless.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong does the hard work for you, dissecting calls using AI and quickly highlighting the most important parts of the call. Managers can spend less time reviewing calls with tools like trackers and topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing is better than actually sitting in calls and listening to the whole sales process, but gong allows managers to scale their time

Before Gong we didn't have a scalable way to track sales reps' performance against our training objectives

After each call I have I like the reassurance that if I missed anything from a meeting I can look back and review it.

Pretty good things from gong only, happy customer.

I can go back to my conversation and annalize my calls and responses to improve my talk track in calls or meetings.

Gong - essential tool for software companies
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a easy to use, powerful tool to review conference calls with customers, partners and employees. The identification of topics to easily find critical information is essential to save time and increase productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to add the chat to the service, that would be a great improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems vary - 1. account review / confirmation of key topics discussed, commitments, or other statements of reference. 2. When transitioning business from one employee to another, using gong allows us to ensure nothing is lost in translation. 3. Call recordings are very important to ensure people don't change their mind, keeps everyone on the same page and documented.

Highly recommended, business would suffer without it.
Important Tool for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Gong analyzes my calls to pull out the important pieces of data that we need to know about for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Gong and typically like using it on my mobile device.

Ensuring we are capturing everything from our interactions with clients. Notes are important to make but they lack the context of the conversation. Gong is also a very important tool for training new reps or getting more information about past interactions with clients/prospects.

Try it out! There is no risk of trying and you will likely find it is an important part of your business!
Seamless call recording and insights
What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows you to effortlessly record all calls and also shows a visual analysis of the call. This makes it very easy to go back and find what was said in the calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any specific dislikes other than that my company also uses a VOIP service to record phone calls and we have not integrated gong with these calls. We are currently only using it for screen share meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with quality control and also call improvement training. I think we could maximize the value more and could use tips from gong as to how other similar companies do this.
