Easy to use platform to revisit calls

What do you like best about the product?
being able to go back and listen to my calls and speed up through parts I don't need
What do you dislike about the product?
would love the ability to slow down calls just like I can speed them up. Would also like the transcribing to be a little better - many times just shows gibberish. Could just be me, but I think it's common in our office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to to go back and capture details that would otherwise would be impossible to write down all at once during a live call

Getting ramped has never been easier

What do you like best about the product?
Having recorded product demos to get ramped exponentially faster. Being able to easily go back and hear myself before follow up meetings has proven to be very effective as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of calls seem to fail to log in Gong, regardless of the states that do not allow it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
forgetting what exactly was said as we run a ton of meetings. Gong keeps me on track and helps my managers give us constructive criticism

Get it, everyone will ramp quicker

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to score calls by user using our own custom score card, and also being able to track calls by specific words used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only some technical issues where calls do not record & if the caller speaks too quietly Gong doesn't transcribe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing Play tracking, call coaching with Sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Gong to other businesses! Its a smarter way to track calls & coach your sales teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Call recording, easy to share knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't name any downsides, I love it!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Excellent for coaching and feedback. Great tool to share snippets of conversations across customer facing teams. I've personally been able to provide more thoughtful follow up since I can go back and listen to calls and pick up details I may have missed.

Gong is a great weapon for better alignment between sales and marketing

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been one of the best additions to the tech stack at Alpha. We are able to understand how well the client-facing teams are able to articulate Alpha positioning and key differentiators by listening to calls. It's a great way for marketing to be able to tweak messaging, in near real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would hope that Gong would invest in its transcription offering, as often the transcripts are full of wrong or garbled words, making them less valuable than they could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving marketing messaging
Understanding why high performers are doing better
Seeing the frequency of questions asked by prospects and customers

The fact the you have a lot of data insights into your conversations like interactivity and talk time percentage.

The categories on the bottom aren’t always accurate about talk subject.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the stats and trends that gong gives insight too and that you're able to give coaching feedback at exact moments in the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish calls were uploaded sooner after the call ended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've found talk time ratio to be super helpful and to coach my SDRs on listening more and getting prospects to talk more.

What do you like best about the product?
How the program analyzes the call, produces a transcript, AND gives you action items. Gong is like my personal secretary!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times I wish that it would recommend certain calls for me to review based on what it analyzed or length of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a part of my development and growth, I have utilized this tool to the fullest. Sharing my calls with my manager to review produces wonderful, quick results.

Great call analytics

What do you like best about the product?
I love the data-driven metrics that allow me to become better on my sales calls. You can also use it to track what was talked about and said in conversations, such as "call me back in December", so that those "reach out at a certain time" calls aren't lost in the thousands of calls you make. It is very easy to search across your own calls, and your companies, and to receive sales-coaching feedback from my managers. You can also compare yourself against your team on a variety of statistics, and the platform makes it very easy for your managers and coworkers to comment on your calls, with timestamps, so you can see where the call was made or broken. You can also integrate it into major sales platforms like Outreach or Dialpad to make uploading easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing sticks out, but sometimes the calls can take a little while to upload, but that is very nitpicky. The product is very complete and does exactly what you would expect a quality call-recording and sales-coaching tool to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have improved many facets of my coldcalling, like my introduction and talk ratio. Gong also releases a large amount of content geared towards bettering cold-calling. I've been able to receive direct coaching from a variety of people across the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It does exactly what you would want it to do, driving sales-coaching with data and doing a great job recording and analyzing and transcribing calls.
