No panic to take notes on calls

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to be present and listen on a sales call instead of frantically taking notes has become invaluable.
I can re-listen or even search the transcript for action items, or specific content. This allows me focus on the call that I'm on, knowing I'm not missing anything and can always go back into Gong for review.
I also like, for training purposes, that you can join in on colleagues live calls essentially invisible. This allows you to gain valuable training insight into new roles, new products, new issues etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcript improperly transcribes the conversation, but I think thats inevitable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly training and coaching. We submit our best calls every week which are then listened to, and rated by our managers and submitted feedback. It's very valuable to hear what they have to say stamped with a time to our conversation.
Again, I'm able to be present on the call. Knowing ALL the detail is being captured is like having a safety net on all these calls with action items and new information.

The Zoom integration is nice, but notcc BBC always desired. Thee should be a better way to manage that, call by call

the ability to review calls and tag specific aspects of each call for review

The transcripts could use a little improvement, it also can take some time for calls to load into gong from purecloud

inconsistent messaging, cross-selling, asking questions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate based on conversion and how much that conversion could increase using your current headcount. While it's often hard to justify the price of a tool you have not fully implemented, you can compare this to the cost of additional sales headcount

I love the transcription feature, and being able to pull snippets of the call to share with colleagues or prospects

How my voice sounds listening back to my calls!

Tone, recognizing how much i interrupt, tracking how many questions im actually asking in discovery

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to go back and have manager/agent both comment their thoughts on the particular call as well as the ability to listen to other team members calls for coaching and personal training purposes. Being able to add scoresheets is just a phenomenal feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Very few negative things to say. A few times it missed recording calls added to my calendar but I do not believe that was caused by Gong. Excellent software on the whole. Very feature heavy so takes a bit of time to really learn to use the software to it's full potential but there are a wealth of training tools and in my eyes, having too much functionality is not a bad issue to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better understanding where the team strengths/weaknesses are, excellent for immediate feedback and constant coaching as immediately after the call, both I and the manager are able to swap ideas for improvement and immediately apply them to the next call. This is whether we have a scheduled 1-1 that day or either employee is working remote. It has been very nice to be able to apply this software lightly initially to get a gauge of mine and the teams skill level, and then lean into it heavily for daily coaching and constant feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excellent service. Our sales management swears by it and it has helped myself grow as an employee. Facilitated training and oversight on the teams progress/abilities

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing detailed coaching methods across our business. We have sales and account management teams that need to learn from each other, and rotating members into different teams is much smoother with Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app should have some better features here and there.

The delay in the voice joining my calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Aside from being a consistent and easy to use recording tool, the analytics and insights that can be gained from Gong's reporting are amazing. It has helped me stay organized and follow through on commitments made during calls that otherwise may be overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet that I specifically "dislike."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a high volume of client calls and, because of this, things can get lost in the shuffle occasionally. Gong gives our team an easy way to make sure we're following through and listening to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
That it shows you what subjects were talked about at the bottom of the screen so you can jump easily to certain sections. I also like that its color coded so you can easily see what parts people were discussing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to alert everyone that there will be a recording which can turn people off. Sometimes the recording can be a bit choppy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recap subjects that I might have missed on the original call. Also, I can listen to see where I mumble or say "uhh" and it helps me sharpen my selling skills.

Definitely give it a try!
