Ease of use to quickly find solutions!
What do you like best about the product?
As. new rep I am constantly looking for examples and resources to hone my product presentation skills. Using Gong I can quickly find a series of calls around specific topics, then go right to that part of the call to get the statements or positioning I need without having to listen to hours of unrelated call info. It is incredibly efficient!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not unlike most translation services, the accuracy of the voice to text may be off at times, but only off by words, not entire conversations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly analyze my conversations and understand the percentages of talk time between myself and my prospect. That has been a huge benefit to me and my mangers coaching to improve how I approach my calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Their UI is extremely easy to navigate through. I've tested many similar products and found that Gong did it the best in terms of UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's too expensive. But seeing they are the top out there, it makes sense to put the price the highest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We would like to record our sales and technical calls to get a better understanding of how to improve in order to win more business. Whether that's pain points, timing feedback, pulling in the right resources, this data would be great to have.

Ease of automated recordings and view all interactions with customers across time
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts still need work - I appreciate it is a hard problem but some of the phrases it thinks it has heard provide much entertainment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to learn from each other, provide coaching and document calls for customers in a really simple way. We use it to share product insights with the team, to review before following up by email to ensure we can be hyper-personalised in our responses and to document best practice for new joiners.

I love being able to learn how to improve my sales skills, as well as analyze my calls to create perfect follow up emails.
I will also always listen to my discovery calls before a full demo to make sure that I am 100% prepared to WOW by prospects with attention to detail and preparation.
The "team" page is also great to understand trends across the team and understand behaviors that make high performers.
I LOVE the "action" feature as well, which highlights any of the areas I promised I would follow up with. This has saved my life several times!

Sometimes I get way too many email notifications of completed calls, recordings, and upcoming calls. These aren't too useful and I usually just delete them.
The voice to text analyzer is also good, however it could always be a bit better.
Overall, there is nothing that I dislike about Gong, just tiny things that I'm sure will improve over time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note taking is a HUGE one - I always take notes by pen and paper on sales calls, and having Gong record everything is a great way to go back and listen to anything I missed.

Pivotal to coaching and pipeline management
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is pivotal to coaching obviously. Outside of that it is great for deal reviews to see how much of a reps pipeline is at risk. It ensures that I can more accurately forecast deals for the quarter. Gong is also great for onboarding new reps by building a library of good calls to help them learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing that needs to be dialed in is the indicators that put deals at risk. On a Monday almost every deal is at risk unless they communicated with the client on the Friday. The only other thing that I can think of is not recording my internal calls. It would be nice to have a setting that turned that off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching reps on their calls and improving their sales technique. Speeding up the on-boarding new reps by being able to have them listen to good calls without waiting to shadow a rep. Build a more accurate pipeline and forecasting by easily seeing activity and buying signals.

Get up to speed with my new role... ability to go back in time and "be present" in key meetings is of great value.

I like how easy it is for me to use. I can see all videos clearly, the sound is excellent.

So far, search based on keywords helps locate the relevant calls to reference for business strategies.

My last 3 companies implemented GONG and it has been a game CHANGER.
What do you like best about the product?
Due to COVID-19 I had to onboard 2 times virtually. GONG sped up my onboarding process. I listen to others pitch before jumping into sales certifications and now my own customer calls. I use the transcript to pull out things I like to make my own script, have visibility into my teams calls & I'm the worst at taking notes during sales calls because I'm trying to be more of an active listener and can't multitask SO I always listen to my calls after at 1.25 or 1.5 speed to make notes (this speed up feature is life changing)
What do you dislike about the product?
FIltering calls - I can never find what I'm looking for for some reason. I don't know if this is my sales enablement teams job or if it's GONG but would be helpful to filter more accurately
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
my talk ratio and my speed - 2 areas I always need to improve on. I'm at about a 70 talk to 30 customer talk right now trying to make it more 60:40 and ideally, 50:50
