Great tool for getting up to speed when joining a team
What do you like best about the product?
The recording and speed optionality. It saves a lot of time being able to fast forward through irrelevant parts of the call and listen only to what's needed. The transcript feature isn't accurate but can be useful to read along when listening on fast forward in a loud space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript feature is really inaccurate. I couldn't find a way to search for calls based on all people involved (filters were only company and host).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not really a problem, more so getting up to speed without having extra meetings to get up to speed. Great for getting in the loop if you're just joining a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to find the most important information I need to build a strong business case with my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I'm now just starting to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives me a chance to really listen to my clients, rather than worrying about noting every specific challenge they're looking to solve. Using Gong helps me build stronger business cases with my clients, and ultimately speeds up sales cycles/increase win rates.

Sometimes the servers go down and are not able to retrieve previous calls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to find customer pain points and sound bites that work. Some benefits have been - I realize that sometimes I speak too much or over sell on the initial call
Great tool for recording calls
What do you like best about the product?
This is a quick, easy, and painless way to record your calls and also be able to share with your teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about using this tool. I suggest this to all teams who are wanting to get stronger on their calls.

We are using this tool to record our phone calls with our clients and then review them in our team huddles to make ourselves better! :)
Best Call Review App Ever
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite parts about gong are: the ai features that review your call & help you with suggestions. the tracking of topics is amazing along with guidance on talk time & patience.
What do you dislike about the product?
this is not a dislike, only something that can be improved. the transcription is sometimes off, but I can understand that being that sometimes people mumble or aren't very clear
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
when you're on a call and in the moment there's little time to assess. when listening to your calls you get to see what improvements can be made along with gong's insight features. listening in on teammates as well to learn new things to improve on is a major benifit.
Gong has increased our productivity by making it easy to log calls and review them.
What do you like best about the product?
We really enjoy how easy it is for Gong to record calls, and then let us browser and annotate them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike about Gong, I haven't had an issue with it yet.

We use to use Zoom cloud to record calls and that was a pain, Gong has made it easy to record, annotate and share calls with our team.
Amazing features
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see the voice track on a recorded call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not applicable, I cannot think of anything I dislike about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me and a supervisor to go over my call to improve upon certain aspects.
Great tool that provides great insights
What do you like best about the product?
It has an intuitive user interface. I can quickly navigate to my recorded calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a little while to understand the "team" structure and how data was organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a scalable way to train our remote teams. Using Gong helps us tackle that initiative.
Amazing recording and analysis tool, game changer for Sales and CS
What do you like best about the product?
First of all, our CSM, Chip, is amazing. So on top of helping us and getting things set up just right. Secondly, the call recording is fantastic and reliable. The interface to review calls and leave notes is awesome as well. Transcription is good, ability to send specific times in a call is great, and the notes are excellent for call review sessions. Finally, being able to set up keyword alerts for management is a huge win as well as the automated "to do" list after calls for participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside right now is I feel like after 6 months we're still not using every feature. As well, the video playback interface needs a view that lets you see the screen large as well as the transcript, not a tiny video with a huge transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call recordings, sentiment analysis of customers, facilitating call reviews, training and onboarding reference video storage and notes, automated call listening (via keywords), sharing customer insights within the company. All of these things are used across Marketing, Sales, Success, and even Product as we can tag calls and share them to anyone internally (so if someone shares product feedback we tag it for that team!).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely give it a try. I was originally skeptical as we already had recording via Zoom but this is a whole new ball game. They layer on so much add value that I can't picture leaving the platform and I'm not even the main target being in Customer Success. I believe they let us trial it for free to start and that was huge, especially as the team moved to full remote in 2020.
