What do you like best about the product?
GONG is the #1 tool I would 100% recommend. The recordings (calls/video) of your Prospecting, Discovery, Demo Calls, and Follow-up calls in one place, transcribed, and ready to view and listen. It has improved our coaching and sales rep review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, very straightforward UI/UX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think this tool helps the entire sales team sharpen their skills as well as give us the ability to review other's reps' talk-tracks and incorporate some of their skills into our own. Very good for knowledge share purposes.

It's basically game film for your calls. See what's working and not working -- helps you iterate, create a plan and get better.
I love tracking all my metrics. How much I'm talking, how many questions I'm asking, am I talking over prospects. It's a treasure trove of super valuable data that can be used by everyone (sales + marketing + success + product).

What do you dislike about the product?
A bi-directional HubSpot integration would be amazing! But other than that, no issues with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the best way to create a coaching + improvement plan for your sales organization.
Without Gong, it would take forever to manually analyze calls and figure out what's working / not working. After everything is setup on the front end, Gong does all the dirty work in a matter of minutes, rather than hours.

Great tool to review sales calls!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the calls are transcribed- it makes it really easy to evaluate how the conversation went. It is useful when you are trying to determine lessons learned because as a team you can even evaluate how you communicated a unified vision.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that you have an extra invitee on the meeting. Sometimes when you are meeting with a client and you have this extra invitation it causes questions.I do not like that you have an extra invitee on the meeting. What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been super helpful for me as Customer Success Manager. I work for a very technical SaaS companies and it allows me to go back and re-listen to my customers when there has been something that I need to revisit or may not have understood the first time. It eliminates any situation of - what did they say on that last call, I don't remember how we left off. It's also very helpful to snip portions of calls so I can share with my Product and Engineering teams so they can hear feedback from the customer directly. It's also helpful for me to learn from other members on my team by listening to their calls. I was definitely skeptical at first about recording every call, but the majority of my customers have had no issue with it and I really consider having it a critical tool for my success now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription does not handle accents very well.

Never missing any follow up items with customers. Better understanding of my customers' needs.

When integrated w SFDC, the ability to create meaningful/useful line of sight from high level dashboards down into the actual behaviors and conversations that are having the most impact.

With a lot of power and capability comes a learning curve to learn how to efficiently leverage all the insights.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can watch back my replay and know exactly what the client described. The I can share that recording with the account executive who has all the information they need to close the deal. I have already shared with sales reps at other companies how useful it is.

There isn't much to dislike. I suppose some of the transcripts have some mistakes in them, but that's not a big bother.

Deal handoff is smoother and it was an awesome program to learn sales.

If you can get access prior to your start date, you can get up to speed on things faster than being employed for a month. Amazing coaching tool

Love everything about the tool. Sometimes prospects ask to disable

Easy to get coaching without taking up valuable time

What do you like best about the product?
I like using it for marketing purposes. We use it to analyze our podcast, we use it to see how often sales is talking about the story we build for them, we see how often topics are discussed at an ELT level, we use it for coaching our sales reps on all things sales, we use it to get deeper insight into current pipeline and deals. Just so much value.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s sometimes a tad clunky with permission sets. We’d love to never have anyone be able to access certain recording except for a handful of individuals at the ELT level. But if you are on the ELT and are the owner of a team and want them to listen to your calls then this becomes an issue.
Also the zoom integration is frustrating at times not giving warning or even showing its recording.

This is not just for sales this is a valuable intelligence platform that gives you insights and a view of process across strategy and execution. Marketing covered the cost for this because we saw that much value in it and now our sales team loves us for it.
