Must have for Sales Reps
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to navigate and keep track of client calls without having to take detailed notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning for transcript could use some updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems, overall really great!
My experience has been very positive, the system is very intuitive.

It is so awesome to automatically have all customer calls recorded and indexed for review later.

I haven't found anything I dislike about Gong yet.

We don't have to remember to turn on recording and we don't have to worry about finding the calls later and getting.a link to share them and worry about losing the recordings when a team member leaves.

Use it for all customer calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I love knowledge sharing that can happen in real-time on Gong. This is SO much easier to review calls and add context for the relevant teams rather than trying to remember what someone said or making a product person listen to a whole call. I have used Gong for coaching new employees on their calls and I like it because I can pinpoint exact examples of what works and what doesn't. It will make future onboardings easier as we accumulate more videos and examples for new hires to watch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's so much information at times it can feel like you don't know where to start. You need to have a decent strategy in place so you understand where to tackle the most critical priorities and learnings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a CS team so I am trying to make knowledge transfer easier and Renewal prediction. Surveying my team is also helpful PRIOR to launching gong and then 60-90 days after to determine if their workflows have improved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am running the CS organization, so we are the secondary user group of Gong, but it's beneficial in breaking down silos between our teams. We also use it to coach our team to understand what works and what doesn't work; this is particularly helpful when onboarding new employees. Finally, this is the best product for knowledge transfer between all teams I have ever used.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can watch the video and see your presentation later. It helps review information my account exec forgot to tell me so I can follow up post demo.
Just as valuable is the content Gong provides on sales strategy that is backed by their data of thousands of calls made. Devin Reed does an incredible job of sharing best practices, keywords, and the impact this information has on the close of the sales. The webinars are interesting and informative. I look forward to his LinkedIn posts and share them often.

What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript isn't 100% accurate. It would be nice if it was better. But is it close enough that you can still understand what is being said. That is honestly my only issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to see how the demo went when I wasn't a part of it. It makes it easier for me to knowledgeably follow up when I can't get the necessary information from my account executive. I'm also able to learn how to do a more compelling demo by watching the top performers' demos.

I’ve found gong to be a helpful product to identify patterns in my sales efforts, collaborate strategic ideas with my colleagues, and to help me plan and execute my follow-ups

It can feel intrusive, but so do all new things.

Saves me time and makes me more accurate in understanding all my customers unique situations

Make sure you have a good sales culture and understand how to use this for guidance and coaching as well as comparing metrics

Reduce sales cycle and Gong has been able to reduce our sales process by 23 days.

If you want to take you sales team to the next level, I highly recommend using Gong to get you there

I love the trackers and tagging tools. It helps me focus on themes and share positive and negative moments with others across the team.

Nothing. I like everything about Gong, from the content to the tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One benefit I realized was using it to inspect our pipeline deals and how activity and trends affect those. But I'm solving all sorts of problems, mostly around fine-tuning discovery processes with new reps.
The best tool for meeting recaps and analysis of performance
What do you like best about the product?
The transcript feature and the analysis of speaking time
What do you dislike about the product?
The need to schedule 20 minutes outside. You should be able to add the notetaker at a moment's notice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing complete and accurate notes in a meeting. We can see how a presentation went, did the customer or prospect engage enough?

I have learned how to better pinpoint areas of my pitch where I can continue to improve. Being able to listen to my calls helps a ton.
