I use gong to record and transcript video calls.
What do you like best about the product?
I use the transcriptions, call to action, integration with zoom

I don't have any problem using the app. I wanna see it integrating with gainsight as weel

What do you like best about the product?
Recording the call and providing a transcript has been huge for our organization. While I am not in Sales, there is so much to learn from rewatching calls that went well and calls that had opportunities. It also helps as a source of truth to see who said what and what was promised. The ability to leave comments also helps the team stay involved and call out important parts of the call. From a managerial standpoint, it also provides easy-to-digest insights about the volume of calls that each team member is conducting and contributing. Lastly, being able to snip and send the call to clients has been huge when they have people on their end who are unable to attend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any issues with Gong. sometimes the transcript isn't completely accurate, but in almost all cases the point gets across and you can always watch the actual call if the transcript doesn't make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping our Sales and Operations teams track deals, better understand (and remember) what each specific client wants out of our services, and have an easy to reference visual and transcripted log of what was said and when.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use. Easy to share calls. Excellent for tracking progress of clients and udnerstanding their needs and interactions with your company. A must-have for Sales and Customer Success organizations alike.

I love the ability to easily search words or conversations in the transcript. Helpful when giving constructive feedback to colleagues!

Sometimes I'm not able to join client calls through gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes it easy to do calls from anywhere and has been a huge help with coaching and note-taking.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to give my sales leaders cleaner visibility into their Deal Boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to map the fields in from SFDC the right way if the fields are Custom fields, seems like an SFDC limitation more than Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deal review and Deal feedback sessions are easier to run. Allows us to focus on the right deals that need attention.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Gong is the amount of information you can access right from the call view page when listening to a recording - seeing who is speaking and when is super valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. I would say sometimes the information being pulled in via CRM integration is off but in my role not a huge issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally the ability to provide relevant feedback, coaching, and praise for team members based off of exact moments in a call vs. a discussion afterwards is really valuable.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how everything is broken down using metrics. This really makes it easy to see specific areas of a call and hone in on what needs to be listened to/understood.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a delay between Salesforce and Gong for calls to be uploaded, typically with longer calls. Honestly, it's such a small issue though that it is barely a dislike at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Gong has made it possible for me to learn from my co-workers in new ways, and fine-tune my own approach to sales calls. I've grown significantly by reviewing calls!

An excellent tool for honing client communication
What do you like best about the product?
We utilize Gong internally to record and review all client communication. This allows us to review as a team and discuss improvements ("how can I say that better?") and performance. We also utilize the "share call with customers" feature so that our clients have access to our recorded trainings with their teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Gong is how long a call takes to process if you're trying to share a snippet. I would like to very quickly trim the beginning of a call (often small talk) so that I'm only sharing the most pertinent information in the recording. However, this sometimes takes up to two hours to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for quality control, consistency in client communication, and sharing of information both internally and externally. This allows for constant improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been instrumental in the way I work. From an organizational perspective, it allows me to stay updated and also make sure I didn't miss anything in previous calls. My favorite feature is being able to search by keyword over a specific date range to find information faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loud automated voice that starts on every customer call. I wish there was a cleaner option like the way Microsoft presents the "this call is being recorded" text on top of the meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time efficiency is the big solver here. I love being able to open Gong on a Monday morning and just refresh what happened last week. It also tracks fairly well via the "to do" area to make sure you are on top of your game if you missed anything.
Gong is a must for any business!

Gong provides insight and easy access to all calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really, maybe being able to see where particular things are located in calls better, but they do a good job of this already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency. We can see all correspondence between us and our clients, look back and review calls, really streamlines our workflow.

Definitely test it out, it will make your lives easier

What do you like best about the product?
As a CSM, there are situations where either a coworker leaves, gets promoted to a new role, or an account gets transitioned over to me. As fun as it is to read someone else's notes on an account *insert insane amounts of sarcasm here*, it's WAY better to listen to past calls to get an understanding of how they work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's been an update recently where it pings me and asks if I give it permission for vocal recognition. I don't like it, and I want it to just go away. Also, I wish there was a way to default the amount of days a call is available for when sharing the recording with a customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effectively learning the easiest ways to understand customers, to improve the way I handle my calls with customers, and doing everything I can do ensure that my vocal fillers are recognized and um...eliminated. Like, yeah.
