How did I ever sell before Gong?
What do you like best about the product?
Possibility to listen to your calls recorded for note taking purpose and coaching on what to do and how to improve
possibility to listen to other reps' calls to coach yourself on your own time on topic of interest to you
The tips you get on each call, the overview of topics discussed etc.
The ability to read when you don't understand something - speech-to-text is not always sharp but very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
the speech-to-text in non-english languages needs improvement
Wish there was a possibility to have a better overview of your own calls and calls of interest in the home page (such as a tab /grid view instead of folders)
Wish there was a feature that advise you what calls to listen based on your searches or profile (eg I'm new to the org = here are the calls you should listen first)
The app needs improvement as lots of features missing compared to desktop version (app is not very user friendly - but good nonetheless)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits: note taking enhanced, in-depth understanding of what clients say and need (because I no longer rely just on my memory but also an actual recording), being able to get an impartial listener who can help on the deal and just listen to any call without the need to be available for a specific date and time. I have genuinely no idea how I ever managed to sell before using it (this is the first org I've worked for who has it). It's just made my life so much easier as a sales rep, I even recommended it to my ex sales VP in my previous job. I use it to coach myself on my own calls, or listen to the best reps to learn best practices. You get tips for each calls that are interesting and also your stats (such as monologue lentgh) You can get an overview of topic discussed...
...there is so much you can get out of it. I have a one hour block every 2 days just to listen to calls actively.

Since I'm able to see the top performers Gong calls and since I'm new to sales, I've been able to become a better talker and ask prospects better questions

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to review calls, see talking minutes to determine prospect engagement, and the ability to leave and review comments. Gong is a wonderful tool to grow sales acumen and sharpen my listening skills. The ability to hear what my colleagues are saying on their calls allows me to take phrases or explanations and make them my own. Overall, this is a very well thought out tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I didn't have a formal training, some things are still a little confusing to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using analytics to determine why we are winning or losing deals. Additionally, it's a great way to collaborate on calls and learn more about other team members' deals.

This is a well-thought-out tool. We have been so pleased as an organization having it.

This files in your call histories with the client. You can view it later if you have missed the discussion.
Customizable and easy to use tool to gain insight into my teams calls. Love it!

Easy to use the search functionality to pinpoint exact points of the conversation

At first, it can be a bit overwhelming, but with a little practice, you will be a pro.

Finding where reps lose the client. Benifits are a great as it allows me to reward/call out good behaviors

I like the insights gong gives you and the little tips and tricks included on each call recordings

I have an issue with the wait time for call recordings I'm hoping they can speed this up in the future sometimes it takes up to 3 hours.

Helps me send recordings of Demos to prospects. It saves me time and helps me with self coaching and reviewing calls

I would recommend this tool if you are a manager or an AE who needs to keep track of their deals / opprotunities

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes my job 10X easier. I can play back my calls and use the transcript for my notes. Really easy to use, great for coaching purposes too! I love how I can search for a keyword and listen back to parts of my call!

There is nothing I dislike about Gong, it is amazing!

Listening to other reps calls for coaching and training purposes. I have ramped up so quickly within my new role as a result.

Can be a bit laggy sometimes and may take some getting used to.

I was initially hesitant to embrace Gong, but once I realized that I could go back and see what works/doesn't in customer calls, I swear by it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the statistics on speaking metrics are a little skewed when participants are on mute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I recently started a role and Gong is a crucial solution. I am now comfortable taking notes, refining my approach, and learning from others all via Gong.
