Really helpful tool to increase the interaction w/ customers

What do you like best about the product?
Possibility to check my meetings and don't need to invest time taking notes during the session. The good part is that I can put my focus 100% on my customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Gong works really well. Just one point about needs to re-sign many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Chance to evaluate my pitch
My manager and the rest of the team can check meetings when they can't participate
Chance to understand my co-workers pitch to increase my pitch

It's great to see what top reps are using to be successful

It might be a security thing with my company, but listening to calls we can only here ourselves and not the client/prospect on the other line.

Great tool for Sales people!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great tool to use for learning, demo-ing, note-taking, and more. I could not do my job with the help of gong, and it's a tool I use daily. Every sales org needs this to improve their sales conversations, deal close rate and improve customer interactions. I find this especially helpful when going back to re-listen to calls for discovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, I haven't found any negatives with gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to listen to demos I've given and find areas of improvement. It's also an excellent way for my Manager to evaluate how I am doing on calls/demos and where I can improve on. I also use this for note-taking - while demo-ing, it's hard to take all the notes down so I can refer to gong if I've missed something that I told a prospect or customer I would follow-up on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is a great tool and I don't know any one who does not reply on this tool daily. If you are part of a sales team, you need this to do your job better!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the prompt notifications that I get that my call is ready to review, and that I can easily find the call and view it within seconds
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't have any dislikes as of yet but I will keep you posted

quickly accessing calls to find details that I need when reaching back out to clients or writing follow up emails

Levels up valuable time spent on phone

What do you like best about the product?
Gongs recording and transcription services have leveled up the way I conduct myself on customer calls. Instead of trying to quickly scratch down notes (which are only 50% legible at the end), I'm able to focus on better listening with the client and formulating valuable responses. It also means that after the call, I haven't missed any notes, keeping me more organized for my follow-ups!
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss when Gong would announce itself on customer calls letting them know why we were recording sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can troubleshoot customer issues much faster by having the customer share their screen and then linking that call out to my development team.

Amazing product for UX Research

What do you like best about the product?
My most-loved features:

- Select to listen to only one speaker at a time - a fantastic feature when you're focusing on what one person is saying.
- Simultaneously watch the recording while reviewing the transcript
- Easily add Gong to a Google Meet or Zoom meeting
- Ability to organize recordings in folders - a built-in research repository!
What do you dislike about the product?
- I wish there was an easy way to make a clip that I can download to include in a presentation.
- ML transcriptions are better than what I've seen in competitors (like Zoom), but still could use some work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a UX Researcher, and I'm using Gong to record and transcribe qualitative interviews. Gong is by far the best tool I've found for this, even if that's not its intended use.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way you can view not only calls but also emails related to a specific client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about Gone - big fan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
s an AE it is great to be able to re-listen to calls. I also like the way it integrates with my calendar and recommends I listen to earlier calls with the same client on the day I have a meeting.

3+ Years Using Gong for a 50+ person sales organization

What do you like best about the product?
Our company has a major focus on sales coaching, as we hire entry-level and do not expect strong sales acumen from day 1. This tool has been pivotal in aiding us in our sales coaching efforts in a WFH environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly, I'm not sure Gong needs a Customer Success team, the tool is intuitive, self-help material is really all they need. It's a self-serve product,, but in-app chat support would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps us to continue to provide strong sales coaching, as well as sales pipeline management, in a WFH setting.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go back and listen to my calls, it tells me the questions I've asked, it tells me the talk time and it just helps me improve so many things on a different level. I truly think Gong is 1 of the most needed sales tools next to Salesforce. Without it, don't expect to improve that much.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly - Nothing Gong probably has a few tricks coming up their sleeves, because the updates are always fire!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating filler words. Figuring out where I left off on each sales call. Cutting down talk time. So so so much more.

- zoom integration not being able to "listen in as a fly on the wall"

- training virtually
- learning from my team without having to awkwardly sit on the call

- time management - being able to listen to other meetings independently without having to join each and every meeting
