Super helpful and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to listen to my calls and my peers, as well as giving and receiving feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
How much it shows how I interrupt and talk too much haha, but I haven't found anything I didn't like yet

Realizing I need to pause, stop talking and listen. I also enjoy that i get a recap showing all of the items I said I would follow up on.

The AI transcription can be better. They are not too accurate when I read them.

With Gong, I can listen to my calls and find areas of improvement which has contributed to my growth.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the searchability, transcripts and how easy it is to share calls or clips of calls with colleagues

I haven't found any downsides so far! Easy to use and very helpful for reviewing calls and tracking customer communication
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not everyone can attend every call, so the ability to go back and listen is priceless. I also love the key word search function.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong has the video and transcript along with it. It has amazing metrics that allow me to see who spoke the most, what were the topics discussed, and wait time (if we gave customers enough time to think to as questions, etc.) Recently I've been working with another analytics part that tells you how long you've let the customer talk, which helps me control monologuing during my training sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for right now. Previously they only had a rewind 15 seconds but not a forward. Now, they updated it so you can fast forward 15 seconds, which is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As, a trainer it allows me to view myself and see if I spoke over customers, if I rushed them, and how much I'm speaking. This helps me reflect and practice to become a better trainer. I take notes to allow me to remember to provide clients enough time to think and also not to speak over them. Recently, I've engaged in their

Being able to watch sales calls as "game film" is a huge improvement for development.

Nothing so far. It is user friendly enough for me.

Prior to gong, you're trying to improve by asking for direct feedback afterwards. Gong makes sure there's not too much lost in translation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it does not catch all the words right, especially when you are not a native English speaker
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep track of all the complex technicalities, names from the projects I share with the client, be able to revisit them and go back to not only the recording but also the script and find the specific topic I need to review again using just a keyword.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to record and share calls - and parts of calls with other members of the team. As a product manager, I love when salespeople grab snippets of calls expressing a need and send them over. I also get a built-in notetaker for user interviews, win-loss analysis etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
They know their target market is the sales organization and have targetted that. So as a product manager, there are occasional mismatches in features for me. The transcription capabilities are (while very, very useful) quite error-prone which would limit how much faith I could put into making data-driven decisions from the recordings. That said - you do get some transcription from a huge number of calls. You have data from calls, even if it's flawed. It's massively valuable, you just need to keep in mind the limitations and take things with a grain of salt.
I think there are also some javascript based performance problems when trying to highlight a several minute long snippet of a conversation to share. The browser can crawl.
These are annoyances and things Gong should improve on, but it's still a wonderful tool.

I use it for harvesting customer needs. It's great at that.

Give it a trial. It's pretty easy to get started with and you'll understand 90% of it very quickly and know if you want it or not.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to communicate client's needs to other parts of the business. Instead of me needing to try to talk through a whole situation, I can simply tag the person it applies to so they get the live information from the client!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't go back and delete a video after something is recorded.

- Call sharing with prospects. (SOOOOO helpful in many of my deals)
- Analytics to help me diagnose where my trouble areas are.
- Call playback, so i don't have to take pages of notes anymore.

My only negative is it takes a while for the system to recognize consistency in patterns within topics which really isn't a big thing since the rest of gong is awesome.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for your sales team to deliver a much better selling experience, then Gong is an absolute must. Something worth keeping in mind is not everyone will adopt it quickly, and some will even be shy to be recorded. But once you explain the value of not having to take notes, having way better visibility in your deal progressions then the rest will fall into place.
