Easy recording tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy UI. Good history of calls with the prospects-customers.

I had a hard time finding the export button. No integration with Rewatch.

Keeping tracks of discussed topics with customers, onboardings...
Great way to be able to review calls
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to re-listen to your call is very helpful. It is also helpful to be able to listen to other reps calls and know how to improve. The training aspect is nice as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything right now. Everything is good for what it is.

Getting new reps up to speed quicker. Ability to go back to calls and hear what prospects have said.
Great platform with intuitive features
What do you like best about the product?
Easily choose who you want feedback to be visible for when documenting in a call. You can create customized scorecards to be used for all call reviews
What do you dislike about the product?
If one person is the invite owner of the call, it gets documented in their name. So if you want to give feedback to another user who is part of that same call, it is not possible to show from a reporting perspective that you gave that person feedback, despite their being part of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account Management Coaching: Review my team of direct reports' calls and provide feedback on a routine basis as well as ad-hoc. Also use calls to get quickly up to speed on the context and background to then strategize best next steps for the team. My team is able to have organized feedback privately shared that is linked to the specific parts of the call where the feedback is relevant.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall I am very happy using Gong. It has a nicer look and feel than Chorus, which was the old platform we previously used for 3.5 years prior.
How does anyone survive without this?
What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to record my calls, analyze them, see when is the last time I spoke with someone, it keeps track of my promised action items and even the amount of money on the line. These are just the bare minimum features as there are so so many more useful tools in this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to see the emails of all participants for followup email purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note-taking is a breeze with this, I can truly pay attention to the client vs worrying about every word. Training is also helpful when I can go listen to examples of what great.. and not-so-great looks like.

I'm able to work autonomously to learn new topics rather than relying on my supervisor/colleagues.

What do you like best about the product?
Call recording and transcription service are really solid, makes note taking and follow ups so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, and some of the integrations aren't always reliable (Salesforce, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving notetaking for sales and CS, also coaching. It's just made both easier.
Great visibility into calls!
What do you like best about the product?
The automatic call progess tracker is great, its gives real time feedback into how to imporve calls and move them along into our sales process. No other call tracker software is like it!
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit more training would always be more helpful. I know there are parts of Gong that I have not yet utilized to its fullest and would like to make sure I am getting everythign out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest feedback is call imporvment. The detailed breakdown of talk time and what my team is talking about is very helpful to focus in on what needs to be improved upon.

I can go back a search for certain keywords and understand my calls/demos better than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can take some time to analyze a call, if I am in a hurry I have to remember that and look elsewhere for notes/insight.

I can go back and see how I conducted my call and better understand where I can improve.
