Gong - Helping Managers Gain Visibility Into Their Teams
What do you like best about the product?
transcriptions and highlights - can specifically look for conversations about competitors or objections

Not always 100% accurate when translating to text
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me save time by not having to listen to an entire recording of a call, instead showing me insight without hearing a word

I like how it can be useful to so many different team members for different reasons. It helps me stay focused when I work. I like how it does most of the work for me.

It can be confusing to understand. it took some time to get a firm grasp on maximing the potential

communications between various parties - it benefits me because I spend less time in long meetings

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the timeline is split by speaker and topic of conversation as well as the transcripts that allow me to search by keyword. It saves a lot of time when analysing user interviews!
What do you dislike about the product?
Took me a while to figure out how to share specific snippets of a video. It would be helpful if that was easier. The great thing is that then you can have a link to a snippet that refers to the user insight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more scrubbing through interviews looking for that one quote the user said at one point. I can search and in seconds find what I'm looking for. I'll then copy the quote from the transcript and drop a link to that point in the interview in the summary.

A great tool to understand how our sales teams engage with our cusotmers without the pressure of someone listening in.
What do you dislike about the product?
audio to text is not always perfect transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
im not able to be on every call to hear every customer pain point, so helpful to review why our customers need our help.

I like that I am able to review my calls. Looking for improvements with my sales tactics have been great.

There isn't anything that I dislike. I have no complaints.

Gong Is An Incredibly Powerful Sales Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Just being able to find and play back recordings of meetings and presentations is huge. But being able to search for keywords and find specific recordings by the company and participants names is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing that I don't like about Gong. It is simple to use and when set up correctly with the systems that integrates with, it provides incredibly valuable sales insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me keep on top of my accounts even better than my CRM does.
Surprisingly amazing tool for marketers!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that we're able to get direct customer feedback. We can start using customer feedback in our marketing. For example we can change our tone of voice to speak more directly to customers in their own words. We can also figure out what they like, dislike, or what they might not know about and create educational content based on their conversations. It's a truly underutilized marketing tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have really been enjoying my experience with Gong so far! I think that if I had to nit-pick the product, then I would say that it would be awesome to customize the "topics" during each conversation to be more custom to our product. Right now it looks like there are a few default topics like "small talk" or "pricing" but if we could customize that somehow to show when someone is discussing a certain feature that would be incredibly helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping our marketing team learn more about customer needs and wants, as well as what people DON'T know about our product. We're trying to lower the amount of customers that say "I had no idea your product did that" and with Gong we're able to listen to areas upon which we could improve our messaging.

Haven't found anything I don't like yet.

Not having to listen to an entire conversation to find one thing that was discussed. Being able to have my managers provide corrective criticism
Gong has been a key resource for me in both Product Marketing and Sales Enablement.
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ability to utalize tags within calls for competitor intelligence and sharing great sales practices. As well having the ability to share small snippets from calls has made sharing knowledge really easy across different departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing it's a great product, whenever I can't figure something out it's always really easy to search for the solution within the knowledge base or connect with my CSM to troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my current role the main problem that GONG helps solve is having insights into how we sell. By tagging calls and reviewing specific topics I'm able to idenitfy areas where we have weaknesses and train the team to build upon them.
