Perfect for reviewing calls

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to find action items mentioned in sales calls. It makes it so much easier to follow up after talking with clients and I'm less worried about taking notes during our meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't use the follow up notifications and sometimes Gong doesn't pick up on the fact that I've followed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less note taking! Better follow ups

Conversation Intelligence & Secret Weapon

What do you like best about the product?
Since using Gong, I have been blown away at the ability of their technology to go above and beyond just a reliable way to record conversations. The solution provides conversation intelligence through features like analytics, alerts, and even breaking down individual meetings to find important parts of the discussion. While I work in client development, the other big win has been for our CX and Product organizations to have access, too. Hearing feedback from customers and bringing it to their attention makes it easy to call out critical feedback and pass it along to them so they can be prepared or informed by feedback, directly from the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I would say is an area of improvement is that if a customer/prospect sends somebody at your company a meeting invite, you'll need to FWD the meeting invite to assist@gong.io to have the meeting recorded. It would be nice if there was an alert or prompt to make sure all of the important meetings are recorded. Hardly an inconvenience, and there could even be a feature I'm missing to help out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No people leader has the time to attend every meeting with a current or potential customer, but Gong helps you understand trends and coach people based on the data gathered and how it relates to best practices. Also, you can refer to a call on your own time since you don't have to hear a recap from a rep's perspective or attend the call live. It also helps provide a better customer experience since it allows you to look at the communication history with a customer. Gong can validate my instincts for what coaching conversations I need to have with people when looking at analytics or listening to individual meetings. The time savings, revenue, and insight that we've gained from this solution are unmeasurable.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to hear the customers and prospects firsthand without the need to be on the call and avoid additional interoperation by man in the middle
What do you dislike about the product?
Works great for my use case. Nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting feedback from customers and prospects is a huge challenge for software product teams. The ability to listen, read, analyze and share important parts with other stakeholders is extremely beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?
I use gong to help review my sales calls, I find that it's pretty easy to use and navigate, and having the option to see zoom calls as well as phone calls is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if gong integrated more into the platforms that I use it with, specifically outreach and open phone. It's a bit clunky to shuffle back and forth between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been especially helpful for onboarding, and I used it extensively to get my sales pitch down, which made me more productive. It has helped me increase my performance.

I like that there are so many training videos that have specific purposes!

I do not like how when something is posted it is not in order of relevance to me specifically right away

It is solving me having to shadow people and interrupt their days, I can just watch their gong calls insread.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows us to get coaching from our manager, see calls that other team members have completed, and review calls if we forgot some information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like when the Notetaker interrupts, it would be nice to have a way to mute the notetaker or integrate with zoom to just provide consent instead of the interruption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping us learn best practices for sales, amazing for learning and coaching. I review my Gong stats weekly to see where I can improve.

Asynchronous collaboration is now much more efficient

What do you like best about the product?
Having the opportunity to be able to view meetings that you did not have the opportunity to participate in, review every detail of what was discussed in that meeting, go back in time as many times as necessary and receive a summary of all the calls of the week is fantastic. I don't have to worry about receiving subjective information, I can stick directly to the facts and evidence gathered.
What do you dislike about the product?
To review calls I have to log into a particular space and that can be cumbersome, although I understand it is the only way that can happen at this time, but I really would like to be able to have a widget or an app in m computer to make it easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is really helpful when it comes to being able to review in detail the conversations that have been had; it offers the ability to generate evidence and that is to have hard information that will allow better decisions to be made. One of the biggest advantages is that all of this is asynchronous, I can now decide which meeting to go into and which not to go into and be able to review the call afterwards. It's technically having a secretary taking minutes of every call.

What do you like best about the product?
My experience with using Gong thus far has been tremendous. The various amount of analytics & details open to viewing is very eye-opening. On top of that, not only is the data great, the way its shown & the ease of navigating the platform sets it apart from any competitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only "dislike" would be the amount of eyes on your work. While it's great for management & team members to learn and stay up to date on things, I feel this may / could be used in the wrong way as it relates to "micromanaging". While it's a great tool for companies if used appropriately, I feel it could have some internal backlash if certain employers "abuse their power" with such detailed day-to-day information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping solve many problems, wether that be talk time, action items in reference to deal / demo follow ups, stale opportunities, integrations with multiple systems which saves time, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that they transcribe the call for you, it makes it very easy to go back in the call and search for the key points. It is a very easy platform to use and adapt to.
What do you dislike about the product?
i really have not experienced many downsides when using this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps be an automated note taker for all calls so you can really focus on being present during the call instead of having to take notes during the entire call.
