Great asset for new employees
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to go in and listen to calls for training purposes. It's a great asset, especially during the holiday season when business tends to slow down. It's also a great tool to be able to go back and self-review calls to see where there are areas of improvement in your own performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why Gong does not record numbers said during conversations, but it can complicate things sometimes. Otherwise, I have yet to find anything that bothers me about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new employee, it helps me with training. I also use it to prep for phone calls with things I don't yet have a lot of experience with; by listening to more experienced team members' calls, I get an idea of how to handle/approach things.

What do you like best about the product?
The power to understand others' approaches as a salesman watching them after the fact helps with my learning. Further reviewing my own processes has improved my objection handling :)
What do you dislike about the product?
At Time it can log me out and Ill need to ensure I check back in for my upcoming calls to be recorded, No other problems with the Tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not seeing others pitch in a sales environment not having individuals relay their approaches is very powerful. Learning and reviewing in my own time
Best Sales Tool EVER
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to go back to a customer call and review not only how you performed as a sales rep, but how the customer responded to specific questions without having to take notes while they are speaking and hope you capture it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is slow to load or pauses mid view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not needing to take notes mid call, being able to watch other rep's videos to learn/train/improve and being able to ask for feedback from my peers and leaders without having them on the call.
Gong is an extremely beneficial tool for any organization looking to increase sales performance
What do you like best about the product?
Not only does Gong record your conversations, but it provides metrics that you can go back and review to analyze how the conversation went, who talked more, and also highlights key points from the conversation!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I don't like about Gong, but if I had to pick something, you need to do a little digging to find the analytics/data/notes from your conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not only have I been able to focus more on the conversations I'm having by taking more minor notes. Gong also allows me to go back, listen, and review opportunities for improvement afterwards!

What do you like best about the product?
I can be fully present in each meeting conversation versus worrying about missing important details by not taking notes the whole time. I can be more present because Gong allows me to go back and watch my video meeting again Or us the transcript to go straight to the meeting portion I need to revisit.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I dislike. However, I do wish the audio-text transcription was a bit more accurate. Sometimes the written transcript has wrong words because of how voice is translated to text by the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization decided that it is more critical to give our clients our full attention during meetings. Attention is lost when you are trying to listen and take detailed notes. Gong provides a significant benefit that we can be confident that all necessary information from the client will be accessible through the video recording and transcript regardless of whether you choose to take notes or not.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I always let my clients know that Gong is in use to get their permission to be recorded before I continue the virtual meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong allows me to see points of interest, the transcript as well as listen to the calls that I make whenever I want. This allows me to review them, gain insight on how I can better improve, and submit the calls to my peers to receive their feedback as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the transcript were a little more accurate as it can quite often confuse words that I said for others which leads me to have to decipher what I said during some calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to rely solely on my memory to remember what was said during all of my calls. I can always revisit the transcript and see what our points of interest are, what topics my customers found most engaging, and future topics of discussion that should be covered in other meetings.
Genius Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The trackers and other search capabilities are extremely useful to quickly sort calls that feature issues I am targeting. I can review my own calls objectively and those of mentors.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I am pleased with all the features offered, there are times when I can not find calls in searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to review my own mistakes and triumphs is priceless. Every mistake is a lesson but, if you don't recall the error, it can be challenging to correct. Gong gives me the chance to thoroughly review my work, as well as to learn from others.

Gong is an invaluable tool to improve sales performance and a growth mindset. You don't know, what you don't know.
Great platform for improving your Sales teams performance
What do you like best about the product?
I think that recording each call is helpful since you don't have to rely on note-taking anymore to make sure you have gotten everything on the call. I also will say that the statistics are awesome, like the talk ratio!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any real issues with the platform. I think there is a lot to play with in terms of settings. My only gripe is that you have to get very specific with the trackers. Meaning you need to add a lot of synonyms or change the way people talk to make sure you are tracking things accurately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, we are solving a gap in sales training with Gong, it is giving us the opportunity to not only improve our sales teams performance but also create a library of good examples for future use.

Less time for new employees to onboard, can learn a lot from past meetings.

The best part of Gong in my opinion is that it breaks down what part of the conversations are happening at a certain time. This will allow me to skip ahead.

I dislike how long it takes to upload a call onto Gong.
