I use it to understand how our users and customers word their pain points to show them better the benefits our solution brings.

the way i can filter my research and get the transcript. is more than a sales tool, is a great product tool

I'm from product, I can't chat with all clients but I can go to gong and get the calls with the topics I need to know more. I great to have direct voice of customer
Amazing call recording software
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love gong. Having recently started at a new company Gong has been extremely easy to adopt. It has been incredibly useful for training as I can easily search previous calls using a whole range of filters and the breakdown of the call recording means it's easy to navigate to the parts I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced any downsides to using Gong yet. So far it's been incredibly easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new starter onboarding remotely, Gong has allowed me to educate myself on an array of topics through the amazing search functionalities. I've been able to get up to speed quickly on client accounts, learn about our processes internally and basically find anything I need!

Go for it, you won't regret it
More than a call coaching tool!
What do you like best about the product?
We have a myriad of tools in our tech stack that allow us to slice and dice data in 100 different ways. Gong allows us to review call data and is also incredibly useful when it comes to managing pipeline, identifying at-risk opportunities and so on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only limitation that I see is that there are limitations on mobile and it's a coin flip whether or not I can get a call to play back on iOS. Most of the time I am using it on desktop, so it's not a huge deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think the biggest benefit is that it gives reps the ability to look at their pipeline by stage and quickly see where they are missing important items such as a scheduled next step, being single threaded, time since last meaningful meeting etc. Prior to that we were using multiple tools to make that happen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is quite simply the best tool in its class.

Ease of use. It is simple to search calls by user by also by words and phrases which I find very helpful. Also, being able to listen to calls I have had and pick up on details I may have missed is priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I have found yet. So far Gong has met all of my needs and expectations.

Training and missed info. I can listen to more tenured rep go through their calls and it helps me learn. Also, if I missed any info from a previous convo I can easily go back to the call and find any info I missed.

In today's remote environment where every meeting is a teleconference, the ability to record the meeting is essential.
Gong makes it super easy to record the call and provides an intuitive interface to go back and listen to the recording where you can listen to the specific participant, fast forward, and rewind.
It shows the percentage of time each participant was talking, which provide a great opportunity to fine-tune one's "air time" and be a more effective communicator

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike but sometimes the written transcript has wrong words, although the voice comes through clearly.

I use Gong to record calls so that I can participate without worrying about taking notes.
The application also helps me to self-evaluate my performance/participation

Great tool for Sales Enablement
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to search for topics/themes in a conversation and/or across multiple conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any complaints or issues with Gong at this time.

Able to quickly identify sales, CS, and customer pain points.

What do you like best about the product?
I love to see the patience ratio. It helps in being conscious of when and how long to wait after asking a question to incorporate a power pause. I also really like seeing how you can summarize all action items for after the call the you discussed you'd send as a follow-up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about Gong except needing to ask permission to record before the call, although this isn't something that Gong can fix and maybe making this automated beforehand. I think Gong has been great so nothing I can add to change honestly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong fills in the need to take notes which is excellent; it allows you to listen more in the call actively. It also helps to remove filler words in conversation to sound more like a trusted advisor and less untrustworthy as a seller. It also helps provide a platform to shadow call from successful reps to improve our own processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For new hires, Gong is a great place to shadow calls of successful reps without needing to sit in live.

I like that i can record my zoom calls and then use them as a training platform for myself. I also can listen to coworkrs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant find zoom calls the same day. I have to wait a couple days for a video to upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to record calls and zooms. This allows for easy pull up of calls and zooms to keep myself accountable.
