Unexpected delight

What do you like best about the product?
-Ability to record meetings and track who has spoken at what time
-Ability to share recordings across my organization
-Ability to review different parts of the video
- Usability
What do you dislike about the product?
-It was a great experience. I guess the only thing would be to make Gong more incorporated with other tools such as Zoom -- it would be great to toggle between both platforms easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I am new at my company, and I was watching a lot of Gong videos of earlier interviews with customers.
- Gong helped me get up to speed on the business and understand our customers' needs quickly.
- Note: For me, I thrive on hearing customers talk about their challenges in their own words. I prefer this approach to look at data or having someone tell me about our customers. In one day, I was able to watch 10 customer interviews. I binged on Gong
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is a great way to record meetings and share this information across the organization. In fact, you watch recordings of several meetings in one sitting.
I often do Gong-Binging --- watching several recordings of client meetings in one sitting.

What do you like best about the product?
I can really listen to customers and not worry about getting all the call details written down. It's really easy to finish a call, go into Gong and then review the call by referring to the audio or the transcribed script. It's a piece of cake to refer back to customers' feedback now.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, there are no cons. The tool is very user-friendly, and it requires minimal training to get up to speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking customers feedback to improve our product. Also, the team can easily give me post-live feedback.. so I can improve my customer-facing skills.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for staying on top of all of your deals as well as improving your pitches. The stats they provide are a great way to track engagement and improve your processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
This platform includes everything I use. The only thing I would say I "dislike" is it took our team a bit to fully learn all of the capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to improve our sales process. The main thing we realized is our engagement ratings and have worked on ways to keep our calls more engaging.

Gong Review

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to go back and review my calls so I know both what goes on in the call, which serves as great notes but also I can review myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is a bit hard to read the chart which shows emails and calls on the blot chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bad note taking. I can remember call and customers needs better with Gong rather than just taking notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it daily to keep up with customer information.

Can't work with out it

What do you like best about the product?
When you rin back to back meetings listening is more importnant then note taking however the details can get lost in the conversation. I love Gong as it lets be in the moment with a customer or team member and allows me to go back for the details.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish adding the gong invite was easier, often times the app does not insert itself into zoom or google calls conferences and I miss adding gong at the time. It can give me a sense of security that isn't always there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
conversational details aren't falling through the cracks any longer. We can collaborate internally on client facing calls much easier and its far faster to get caught up on the conversations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it in all client facing calls

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gong offers many valuable features essential to the growth and development of sales professionals. What stands out to me most is the ability to internally review your call recordings with team members and managers to obtain constructive feedback. The sentiment analysis breakdown is a standout feature as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't found any feature missing or needed since I've began utilizing Gong over 3 years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that I'm solving with Gong are self-development as a sales professional and keying into what my prospects care most about in the sales process. The benefit of also listening and learning from top peer sales reps and their recordings is essential to growing within your organization successfully.

Accessible, efficient video recording tool

  • February 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to find my past calls easily and access them without having to search for long periods of time. The video quality is wonderful and doesn't buffer, like some other call recording tools I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind immediately. The little voice in the beginning of the call regarding the recording being used for training purposes can be a little distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the ability to go back and re-watch my old calls and collect data on different talk tracks that work vs. some that don't work. I've realized the video quality is wonderful.
