Seamless Recording and Powerful AI Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The recording is seamless with perfect call analytics and call transcription and next steps via recent AI aspect introduced in Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime, the call analysis takes a bit much time and produce the call recording. The application in general is a bit slow. For custom integration with other platform, it is a complex process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For sales and pre-sales team, I appreciate the conversation intelligence of Gong with their highly accurate call transcription, carefully segment objections, pricing, competitor mentions with high accuracy during recording and seamless sync with SFDC.

It can be challenging to navigate at times. With so many features and moving parts, it can feel overwhelming if you’re not sure where to start or how to best use specific functionality.

The processing time after the call ends is much too long.

This tool helps summarize customer conversations, detect customer intent, and understand the overall customer sentiment. It also allows you to keep track of ongoing conversations and refer back to historical data from previous customer interactions.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong incredibly useful for recording and synthesizing my sales calls. The ability to share clips from the calls with clients and internal teams is great. I love the user interface; it's extremely easy to navigate. Gong was especially helpful during my onboarding, allowing me to shadow other sellers, watch full sales motions, and ramp up efficiently, even without a formal onboarding process or team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got a delay in synthesizing calls. So I use Granola for that one aspect. I wish Gong was faster. I'd even take the call synthesis live and receive the recording later as opposed to waiting to receive both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with training and onboarding, making me more efficient in sales motions and post-call follow-ups by recording and summarizing calls. It's crucial for shadowing during onboarding and education as we lack a formal process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Gong mostly to record my meetings. My favorite thing about Gong is that it not only saves me time, but it gives great insights, like if I'm being patient on a call or talking too much. I also love that it creates an easy task list for me after a meeting so that I can easily finish my follow-up steps. Since Gong provides me with these lists, I can spend less time taking notes in my meetings and more time on proactive questions and uncovering customer needs. It also saves me a significant amount of time by not having to manually type up an email after my calls. Gong links our meetings to Salesforce with a transcript, which makes it easy to look back at past calls. My team has only had positive things to say about Gong, and it was easy for me to start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that is not working well for me. Would love to see more insights, maybe potential buying signs from customers or missed sales opportunities.

I use Gong to record my meetings, which makes it easier to create follow-up emails and saves me a lot of time. It provides insights on call behaviors and creates a task list post-meeting, freeing me up to focus on proactive customer interactions.

Gong has become an essential tool for managing my pipeline. It allows me to record all my calls and leverage AI-driven insights for timely follow-ups and Salesforce updates. I love that I no longer need to take detailed notes—Gong keeps everything organized and clearly highlights gaps in my deals. The visual dashboards make it easy to spot areas where activity needs to increase, helping me stay proactive. Beyond pipeline management, Gong has dramatically reduced onboarding and training time by giving me access to peer calls, so I can learn the business without waiting to shadow live meetings. What started with skepticism has turned into complete reliance—Gong is now indispensable to my workflow.

Gong also highlights gaps in deals and uses visual dashboards to show where pipeline activity needs attention, helping me prioritize effectively. Finally, it has significantly shortened onboarding and training by allowing me to learn from peers’ calls without waiting to shadow live meetings. Overall, Gong improves efficiency, visibility, and confidence in managing my pipeline.
Facilitate Note Taking, But Seek Improvements in Search
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use of Gong. It can be present in meetings and clients rarely have issues with this type of technology. Also, if I have an in-person meeting, I can record it directly with my phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the biggest opportunity lies with the search function. I constantly try to go back and review past meetings with clients, and when I type in a keyword, it doesn't necessarily give me the response I expect. Also, when I record meetings or phone calls on my cell phone, the technology doesn't manage to differentiate the voices well nor does it have an inference algorithm to define who the interlocutors of a call are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me keep a detailed record of my interactions with clients, analyzing my performance, and recycling content. It solves note-taking problems and makes it easier to generate minutes and the next steps in each interaction.
User-Friendly Sales Analytics with Gong
What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for sales meeting recordings and analyzing behavioral data on rep activities. I appreciate how Gong makes it clear where to focus our training efforts and what top-performing reps are doing. It's easy to use, and the interface is very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
ad-ons are behind vs competitors. It would be nice to do everything in one tool.

Gong provides data and analytics on calling behaviors, helping us know where to train and learn what good reps are doing.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong super helpful for tracking conversations with my contacts and staying organized. It gives visibility to my leaders and helps me keep up with everything. I really like using the follow-up email functionality all the time. The transcript feature is something I use a lot too, especially for quick success stories and case studies with certain accounts. It saves me time and helps me figure out my next steps. I also appreciate how Gong allows me to be more present during calls without scrambling to take notes, since I can rewatch calls or use the follow-up to recall specific points. Additionally, Gong stands out with its AI-generated functionality like sentiment scores, making it quite a bit better than similar tools I've used before. Overall, it's been a really good tool and it provides a lot of efficiencies and time saved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think that anything has been buggy or broken. I think for the most part, it's been working really well. It's well integrated into overall systems. I know that it is not made as a tool for CSMs or anybody within an account management type role, but I think there's a huge area of opportunity for a few things to shift and pivot for it to be an ideal tool to use for somebody in my position. Basically an account manager. I think that having, like, a list of outstanding next step items for all the different accounts I'm working with across the board would be really helpful. As well as maybe sending any kind of reminders. Like, if I set in a call, like, oh, I'll reach out to you on next Friday. Then I get a notification that Friday that says, hey. A reminder. You said they'd reach out to you this person from this account. So different things like that, just kind of taking things to the next level. Things that I'm probably doing now as a human, but I would love to automate it.

Gong helps me track conversations and correspondence, giving visibility to my leaders and keeping me organized. It provides transcripts for learning and kudos, allows sentiment analysis, and saves me time with follow-up emails, ensuring I never miss details and can easily manage next steps.
