Gong -- A platform for building strong sales teams, one call listening at a time
What do you like best about the product?
The regular emails with recordings are super helpful -- it's a great reminder to ensure that follow ups get sent out. It integrates incredibly well with our Zoom platform and is very effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many dislikes of the tool but one would be the inconsistency at which it records calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of not having a tool to allow for effective feedback to my team's calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong showed me that a recent call that I thought went well, had a lot of room for improvement. I listened to the call before sending my follow-up email to the customer and was able to fill in the gaps and hopefully leave a more credible sounding impression than what I heard. I am newer so I know my confidence will build as I go but listening to myself was exactly what I needed to identify what I need to work on for future customer interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sound of my own voice! Obviously that's not Gong's fault but it actually would be helpful if thenatural fears we all have in recording our own calls was addressed somewhere in the interface. A gentle pop-up or email when first getting started might help new users jump into listening to their own calls with less hesitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to check on the follow-up that is needed from me is helpful. No matter how well I take notes, being able to hear exactly how/when I said I would follow up allows me to be the best, responsive and diligent salesperson I can be!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't know what competition is out there but between doing nothing and using Gong, there is a clear choice - choose Gong!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can snip calls and send them. Best feature by far. On top of that, I love how Gong will transcribe all calls which allows me to copy and paste, make edits, and clean up my talk tracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how much access to the app because i always feel guilty for not listening to my calls when im off the clock. This is a good thing

I'm solving the never ending game of sales. Tightening up my talk tracks and conversations

Being able to find points of interest during your recorded call is amazing!

Steroids for Selling
What do you like best about the product?
I've sold for almost twenty years. After a sales call, I'd go and look at my notes and add in whatever I might not have jotted down. Even on a good day, there are things I would miss from a call. With Gong, you'll never miss something again. You can go back and either listen or read your entire call. If you're on video and so is your prospect you can even notice small things like when they lose interest or perk up. All things that matter for a salesperson. Once I used it I loved it. After I left the first job that had it and went to one that didn't use it, I missed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. Sometimes the transcript isn't 100% but you can usually listen to it also and get down what you think it meant. For those who haven't used it yet, watching with your manager the first few times are uncomfortable. After that, you get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems are remembering everything that was discussed on a call. This could be something you said, a question the prospect asked or something the prospect said that you want to bring up in a follow up email. Probably the biggest problem it solves is when a prospect becomes a client and tells implementation that they were promised this or that. If you have Gong and its integrated into salesforce your team can go and listen to the call and see exactly what was said. I've had many situations that would have led to churn and clawback be saved because Gong proved I said it right and the prospect heard it wrong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Embrace it. Listen to your colleague's calls or have your manager write notes on your calls. It will only help and get you better.
Incredible tool to boost your skills, self-awareness, and learn from others
What do you like best about the product?
Getting stats on my own calls is incredibly helpful, but having the call broken down into a line-by-line caller-distinguished transcript is ideal. I can also watch my teammate's Gongs to get tips and tricks, especially from the veterans.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video playback page sometimes takes forever to load, so when you are trying to pause, rewind to a specific place, comment, and see the transcript, sometimes the functionality of everything goes out the window as you wait for the page to load. It can be very frustrating. If they fix that buffering issue, the software would be flawless from my perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to watch back through my meetings to find key information, and I have found major benefits in self-awareness about my own sales ability. It is great to watch yourself sell and improve incrementally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it. It will change your life. It will change how your sales team functions. It is so powerful, can't recommend it enough.
Game changer for demo reviews
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has made it so easy for me to review my demos. First, it takes the pressure off of me to take detailed notes during the call; I can focus more on listening because I know that Gong will catch all the important details and the points of interest and transcript will make it simple for me to find the info I need after the call. Second, the stats are a quick and easy way to know how I did. No manager has the bandwidth to review every single call so I find it helpful to check the stats on my talk time etc. for some feedback on how I did. Lastly, the reminders from Gong make it easier for me to stay up to date on my deals after the meeting happened.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest frustration with Gong is that I can't see the transcript and the video side-by-side when watching the call. If the feature is there, I can't find it. This is pretty minor; it means I have to tab back and forth between watching the call and reading the transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Gong I didn't have any stats on my demo performance. I would have a rough guess of how much talking I did, how patient I was, but no data to back that. Before Gong my follow-up process was much more manual and I was forced to focus more on notetaking during the demo. Gong has made it easier for me to actively listen.
My experience for Gong is really amazing.

Nothing as if now. No issues faced at all.

I like the comprehensiveness of Gong. I can use it for many customer success use cases such as portfolios view. Also, like the integration with Salesforce and Churnzero

I don't have any that I dislike about Gong. If anything, I like it more as I learn more features.

I use it to track the communication between customers and my team. Not only does it provide a timeline of touchpoints, but I can also see, read, and watch the touchpoints.
