Gong is a game changer for coaching
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great on a number of fronts. From internal use cases around coaching and highlighting great calls to external examples for clients to revisit training sessions and review what we covered in workshops, Gong has been a game-changer for our team. The transcription is very good, and the built-in insights, along with the custom watchwords, are tremendously helpful in allowing us to track different topics we're most interested in hearing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve to get started. Lots of navigating to do, and there's some manual setup around words you want to watch for, etc. Those things are valuable to spend time on, but it would be nice if there was more included guidance to help ensure we're getting results from our investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to solve for coaching when we're not able to be on every call, tracking towards goals on calls, and we are now identifying opportunities to improve engagement with prospects and clients alike.

What do you like best about the product?
The searchable transcript is the best part for me, as I can jump right to what I'm looking for by entering the word needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not found any downside to Gong. Everything always works great for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to be able to go back and pick up on the little intricacies of a conversation that may have not been obvious at the time of the meeting. And confirming someones Yes or No to a question, and the reasoning is super helpful!
Great tool for a busy sales team!
What do you like best about the product?
The insights that I get post my pitch, areas of improvement and can simply understand and analyze a call in a strategic manner to get better for the next call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hope it had a better UI just like charts or some sort of interesting analytical report that can be refreshing post a stressful day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To get better with each call/zoom meeting, the post-call analysis with my colleague or manager helps me to get better for the one coming next.
The MOST helpful tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The BEST part about Gong is the follow-up email that gives you action items based on what you talked about. It's great recall for me when talking with my partners!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't go onto the Gong website very frequently, so there may be some resources I'm not using to the fullest potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remembering all the information that was discussed on my calls and having the follow up. I'm more impactful with my monthly calls and have better follow up with clients
Gong is extremely helpful for new and existing team members!

Personal call reviews, new hire training, recalling something that was discussed, and syncs well with Sales Force!

Permission settings for call listening and call use.

Training new hires, able to listen again for details, word search, recommended follow-ups, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to find exactly what you did and said--and share it with the right people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every call Gong is connected to starts with a vocal disclaimer--I think it could be made to be slightly nicer or less jarring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My Customer Success team utilizes Gong on a daily basis to make sure all client asks, tasks, next steps, etc are accounted for.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used other software like Gong before, the AI and the Toolset that Gong offers is where I think the real differentiator is. The ability to tag, # and send snippets are features I use just about everyday and the ops, marketing, product teams can all listen in on calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
No known issues right now, I think Gong just continues to add new features and updates like the Team level view that help bring even more value to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performance improvement, coaching and follow up with customers are the main benefits of the software, there are things we would miss in the conversation that are key to the deals.
Like having a personal note-taker for every call

I love that I can review my calls and search through transcripts. I can search for keywords. I can also share my calls with my customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I have found any negatives yet.

I lean on Gong specifically for recalling action items from calls, reviewing previous trainings, and expanding my knowledge.
Fast way to ramp up in role, super useful for those brain fog days too!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes search isn't good, sometimes transcript isn't accurate. Some of the UI is a bit 'busy' e.g. the first page you get after searching for a call name

Ramping up in role quicker by watching others do calls I need to do
