Gong is extraordinary
What do you like best about the product?
Their newer AI features are valuable in the call recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if this is possible yet with AI, but would be cool if the recordings and transcripts could have prompts of how to change your forecast for the deal. Maybe if the recording picked up timelines it could prompt you to change the forecast based on what it picked up. I think that could make notes/MEDDPICC information quicker to update within an attached CRM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making the deal cycle more simple, and effective. I love that is syncs with salesforce to automatically update.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Gong because it is easy to use, and allows me to go back and review calls. At the end of each call it provides a brief summary I can use in order to create a recap email for my clients. It also identifies action items from my calls I can use in order to keep track of what all I need to do following a call!
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as downsides go, the only thing I don't like about Gong is how it speaks about me in third person. It will says "Holly made introductions" and sometimes I wish it used "I" to refer to me so that I can copy and paste into a recap email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped increase my productivity and save me time. I love being able to go to the call and seeing a recap of everything in one place. I also like that it provides transparency within our organization and allows me to go back and watch other people's calls for learning purposes. It has helped increase collaboration, and in the event that a client has to be transferred, it allows for a seamless transition where no detail is missed.
Great tool for note taking and sales upskilling!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI capabilities of Gong. After every call, I'll go back to the call summary to check the questions the client asked and action items. I will also send the call recording to my manager to identify any upskilly opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Gong had the same analytics and summaries for internal calls that are recorded. It would be helpful to see what my action items for things like team meetings and internal workshops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the issue of "Wait, what did the client say during the call?". There's no more confusion or mis-interpretation of the client. It also tremendously helps with clear and actionable sales coaching.
A necessary tool for remote management.
What do you like best about the product?
While the benefits of remote work are clear, the downsides aren't easy to problem solve. Being able to see my team in action helps me coach them and identify gaps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few technical hiccups that occur, like the search function default. But overall, the minor issues are masked by the benefits.

Managing remotely. I have way more insight into my team's strengths and opportunities.
Excellent tool for reviewers
What do you like best about the product?
I am impressed with the accuracy of Gong's voice-to-text transcription, which is at 95%. I also like the insights and reporting features, which can help me improve my sales skills. I haven't yet extracted any reports, but I understand that this is not yet possible. I would recommend that Gong provide e-handouts or digital training materials on how to extract reports to end users during the migration training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Gong's chat differentiator is a great feature, but it could be improved by adding the following:
- Color coding the responses of the participants in a long monologue. This would make it easier to see who is saying what, especially when the transcript auto-scrolls down. I think this is already a feature implemented but needs further improvement.
- Inserting the responses mid-monologue. This would make it easier to follow the conversation, especially when there are long pauses or interruptions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Root cause analysis boost. Previously, our internal tool does help in terms of simple transcription which by the way is 70-80% accurate. But when our client saw the value of Gong they rolled it out fast and got implemented for usage. We were offered multiple internal training sesssions which is good but if training materials, like infographics on quick usage tips are often handed down on top of townhall trainings, it would be a nice to have.
Good product, one glaring issue
What do you like best about the product?
The transcript is fairly dependable and gets most of our conversations despite occasionally encountering multiple languages
What do you dislike about the product?
When vieweing the transcript, the video is minimized into the corner. I use Gong mostly to review and summarize calls with clients and I often need to see what is being shown on our screenshares to understand what the trancript id refering to. I find myself having to switch back and forth between the views instead of being able to read and see the image side-by-side. If the transcript was just displayed in the big area assigned to "Call spotlight" while keeping the video in its original size it would streamline my work significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I just need it to review calls, most of the functions are irrelevant except the transcript, which has a problematic view (see previous note)
Very fun and resourceful website that allows me to watch any past recorded call pretty easily again.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we can review and recordered call again, with the full transcript as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if they have a dark mode, so it can be easy on the eyes. I didn't find that feature yet, but if they do have that then this site would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I accidentally miss an important call due to unforseen circumstances, I know that call will be recorded and uploaded to Gong for me to go over in detail everything that was said or talked about in the call.

What do you like best about the product?
I can go back to conversations and re-wind the topic, even up to the oldest video/record. It even has transcript! It summarizes what was the talk about, It has call brief and even the topic!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some transcrripts are not accurate but that's understandable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I need to talk to the customer again or even other contact, I can go back to previous conversation and pick up from that conversation. Sometimes, we unlock new opportunities that we didn't reaize during the first talk.
