Virtual Fly on the Wall

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature about Gong is the scripts that are also provided with the recordings. Furthermore, I appreciate how Gong shows who is speaking through different colors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to using Gong isn't Gong's fault... it's getting permission from customers to record the call. I have been using Gong for about 4 months and have not had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I labeled this review "virtual fly on the wall" because rather than asking other sales reps to join their calls, I can view the call after. This is a more efficient use of my time as I can take notes, see the transcript, and speed up/slow down when I need to.

What do you like best about the product?
Listening to other calls to learn the features of the solutions we offer as well as understanding how other colleagues are doing the discovery calls, helped me to improve my skills and knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to think about something I do not like about Gong...I believe it's a really useful solution with some incredible features. Perhaps it might be a bit more interactive, and it could be nice having more stats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to listen again the calls I make with my prospects. I do not take many notes during the call if it is recorded, so I watch it again to write down good notes to pass to the Account Executives. Reviewing the calls also helps me to monitor my performance and see where I can improve in future calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a fantastic tool - I can focus on my conversation and being present with my customers and prospects versus taking notes during calls. My ability to seamlessly share call recordings and follow up with direct messages has helped me improve my career and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the translations/transcripts are inaccurate, but the recording quality makes up for the mistakes in the transcripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem that professionals face, being present in meetings without the added distraction of taking notes. Instead of listening and scribbling out half sentences, I'm 100% focused on the conversation and able to guide the conversation accordingly.

Meeting notes and analytics I didn't know I needed!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to search for meeting information through a keyword search in the transcript has been a game changer. I come back to a meeting recording knowing I need some details, but it's always been difficult to pin point where in the meeting to go. Being able to search for what I need has been extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main point of struggle comes from meetings that are really long resulting in large video files. Being able to load and search large meeting recording can be difficult and somethings the page will freeze/crash and I have to restart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me in being able to reference meeting details that I either forgot or am missing in my notes. The ability to reference back to very specific points in a meeting and to get analytics on how the meeting went has been extremely helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see calls live on air as well as review calls from not just you but from your team as well. The transcript and numbers being recorded down with the filters as well
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really i think gong overall is a well built app that provides a lot of experience to inexperienced people. i would like to see maybe more filter in place

listening to sales calls and being able to pick up on certain phrases and how to use tonality. Studying the way of how to do sales techniques and everything like

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to take notes after the meeting so that I can be more present.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I dislike the feeling of being recorded, but am quickly getting over that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is making the sales process more robust. Being able to go back and watch my meetings to better prepare for the next meeting is a huge benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
I would recommend GONG because of how seamless the browser and accessibility are enabled on the site. It is set up where I can easily find important calls. As well as, setting up folders make filtering easier for me to review specific categories. Overall, GONG to me is a great benefit to use to help me review calls and demos I could demonstrate in the future. It is entirely used as a resource for me on my regular schedule just because reviewing my team's conversations does help in improvement on my end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the inaccurate transcript translation. Only because when it is needed most for me to understand a conversation the transcript is either cut out or translated incorrectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am unsure what GONG is in the process of solving but, a great help would be a human verification to evaluate conversations to be translated correctly. Also, if the video be shifted to a transparent image when I pull up the transcript would make paragraphs easier to read.

Great tool for sales and internal collaboration with post-sale teams

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to search keywords as part of questions. The level of search customization is truly outstanding. I can filter by topics, speakers, dates, and even opportunity stages. Gong also allows me to get insights through AI on all my opportunities for the year and quarter. It spots risk based on historical data, not only about things that have been said or not brought up but also analyzes who has been involved in every opportunity to give me a thorough analysis of the health of my business. I really like how I can share snippets of calls with both internal and external stakeholders, while gaining visibility on how much of the recording the viewed and who was the person that accessed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Sometimes calls don't sync properly with Zoom but you can always download and upload manually. I don't see any major issues as of now, they are also constantly adding new features and making the platform more intuitive + with each rollout they ask for feedback which makes for a healthy positive loop. I've been a Gong user for 3 years now in multiple organizations and have seen the platform grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to take notes during calls is a thing of the past, now I can actually focus on having conversations. It solves having to paraphrase to managers or peers what clients said. It is also incredibly helpful to be able to replay recording at an accelerated speed.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things to like about Gong. In my opinion, the searchable library function is the most helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to think of a feature that isn't useful but maybe the Assist function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For new hires, it makes it easy to find calls to train with.
