Effortless Sales Enhancement with Great AI

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Gong's simplicity; it feels like a really efficient use of AI. The suggestions it gives for using AI are very intuitive, like searching for calls or writing follow-up emails. Whenever I have Gong write a follow-up email, it feels spot on as it captures the exact topics we discussed. I also really appreciate the reliability of Gong. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and it saves me a ton of time in my sales job. It makes searching for old calls easy with keywords and filtering, helping me refresh my memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some difficulties with having calls recorded if Gong wasn't able to get added to the calendar invite. It can be a bit of a challenge when customers use Microsoft Teams or their own conference information, although I think this has been improved over the last year or so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong saves me time by making call details easy to find with keywords, refreshes my memory, enhances listening without manual notes, and provides simple search and filter functions for past calls, solving many needs in my sales role.

Intuitive Interface, Enhances Communication

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for meetings with clients and vendors, and I appreciate the ease of communication and streamlining efforts it provides. I like the user interface and how easy it is to use; it's not as confusing or jumbled up as Zoom. I also like the recording properties because they allow us to go back and reference materials. The initial setup of Gong was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes the automated components like emojis don't work well. They're not user-friendly and often don't send at all after being prompted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with the ease of communication and streamlining efforts. The user interface is easy to use and not confusing like Zoom. The recording properties allow us to go back and reference materials.

Clear visibility into customer conversations and deal dynamics

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gong automatically records and analyzes customer conversations, making it easy to revisit important moments from calls without relying on notes.

Searchable transcripts and topic tracking make it simple to find when specific competitors, pricing discussions, or objections came up.

It helps improve sales execution by allowing teams to review real customer interactions instead of relying on secondhand summaries.

The platform also makes it easy to share key call snippets internally so teams can collaborate around deals or learn from strong conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can surface a lot of data and alerts, which sometimes creates noise if teams are not disciplined about how they use it.

Some of the AI insights are helpful but still require human interpretation, especially in complex enterprise sales cycles.

It works best when teams actively review and use the recordings. If adoption is low, much of the value is lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminates the need to rely on memory or incomplete notes from customer calls.

Creates a searchable record of customer conversations that can be referenced later for details around requirements, objections, or commitments.

Helps sales teams review real conversations to improve messaging and positioning.

Allows leadership to understand what is happening in deals without sitting on every call.

Effortless Prospecting, Easy Call Review

  • March 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gong keeps all of my different leads organized and how it pauses the flow for people who have responded to my emails. It's all right at my fingertips and easy to use, which makes watching calls simple. I also love how the calls are recorded, so I can go back any time to listen to my own calls or learn from others. The to-do part of Gong is helpful, with tasks, flows, follow-ups, and flow errors clearly displayed. It separates prospects by flow type, making it clear which prospect is under which lead. The initial setup was super easy, and I love that I had the option to set up a new phone number with Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
The to-do section used to be a little more clear and color-coded, but Gong installed a new update that makes that section a bit less intuitive. I am getting used to it now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to organize leads, track tasks and flows, and record calls, making prospecting and follow-ups more efficient. It keeps everything at my fingertips, easy to use, and helps me learn from recorded calls.

I miss an AI summary, but it could be a limitation of my account.

I use it to document customer calls, get insights into my participation during those calls, and easily share recordings with stakeholders for further discussion and awareness.

A Game-Changer for Sales Call Analysis

  • February 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Gong to analyze sales calls, prepare for upcoming meetings, and write follow-up emails. It really helps create a repeatable process for every prospect and provides valuable insights on my performance. I especially appreciate the feature that helps me prepare for meetings, as I often have back-to-back meetings and don't have time to re-read my notes. I'm impressed with the amount of data I get on each call and how quickly I can prepare for meetings. Also, everything worked seamlessly for me as soon as Gong went live, and I could easily see all the calls I ran on my calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main complaints are the time it takes for calls to analyze, especially when they are over 45 minutes in length. Sometimes for last minute meetings they do not get captured by Gong and require me to manually upload the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to analyze sales calls, prepare for meetings, and write follow-up emails. It creates a repeatable process, offers valuable insights on my performance, and saves time by letting me quickly prepare for back-to-back meetings without rereading notes.

AI summaries have transformed call prep and secure sharing, and now improve client trust

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Gong has two parts: one is for sending the recording to the client in a secure way, and the other one is to prepare for calls. I go into the account and see what has been done and everything is just right there.

A quick specific example of how I use Gong to prepare for calls is that I had to cover for another coworker, and Gong sends a link or an email that allows me to see what has been done and talked about with the client. That helped me to prepare because I didn't have any background and I didn't have a ton of time as this was last minute.

What is most valuable?

I really appreciate the tool; it summarizes everything, it's very user-friendly, and I can type in a word that maybe I remember the customer mentioned, and it will highlight that part for me so I can go back and say, "Hey, I remember you said so and so," and I really appreciate that part of the platform.

The best features Gong offers include the email that lets me prepare for the call and gives me a summary of everything that has been done. I don't remember the name specifically, but it's similar to prepare with AI or prepare for your call or something along those lines, and definitely, that's what has made a difference for me.

The summary helps me save time or work more efficiently because I don't have to go through all the calls and emails trying to understand what was discussed. I don't have to go in-depth to listen to the call and grasp what were the main ideas or what could be missing. It actually gives me everything with bullet points and sections. I know it was only yesterday, but I was reading through, and it was so good and so summarizing. I really loved that.

Gong has positively impacted my organization because it provides a secure way for us to share recordings with our clients, and it also uses AI to translate what is being said, which is helpful in case they share this recording with somebody who cannot hear very well. They can actually read, and the subtitles are pretty accurate. Every now and then it will miss a word, but thinking of being more inclusive, Gong is a great tool for that. If I have the summary and can read through, I can show up to the call prepared; I will feel more confident, and clients will know that even though maybe they had a call a few months ago with an AE, because I listened to it or read the summary, I already know what they said and I'm not going to ask, "Hey, what's your goal?" I saw actually that this is one of your goals. How's everything going? Have you tried this feature? And I can have a more specific conversation with the client and take into consideration things that have already been discussed.

What needs improvement?

Gong is such a great tool that it's hard for me to give input. I'm fascinated by it, and they always send emails about what has been changed recently. I don't have any suggestions at this time.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution almost a year now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Gong is stable.

How are customer service and support?

I have never needed customer support for Gong. The tool is very user-friendly, and I've never had glitches or anything.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did not previously use any different solution; I did not use any other recordings. I have seen Zoom does the same thing and provides a recording and will give a summary, but it's nothing close to what Gong does.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using Gong is to go for it. It's really easy to use, the recordings are very good, it has transcripts, and I can ask something about the call, and it will generate the answer with AI. It provides a safe platform for your clients to go back and watch the recording, and it lets me know when somebody has watched the recording. If someone is just starting, I can save calls, create files of calls that I really liked, and share them with new employees to help them see how calls should be handled or examples of great customer service or people thinking outside of the box. It allows me to focus not only on clients but also on training new employees, and I think that's a pretty cool feature. I would rate this product a ten out of ten.

Gong’s AI Summaries and Analytics Make Call Reviews and Coaching Effortless

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the new AI summarizations and recommendations for my opportunity notes, and the analytics from the AI listening. But even before the Ai tools were introduced, Gong provided a great way to review calls, get coaching, and revisit previous conversations with prospects and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with SFDC is annoyingly slow to sync (though it's possible we have it on an SFTP instead of an API for some reason), andGong's transcription and AI recognition isn't the best, but functionality-wise, Gong really does everything I have wanted or expected it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives us opportunities to be better coached on our sales conversations and talk tracks, as well as revisiting details or contested information. We also use it for forecasting and deal notes. It provides great visibility into deal command analytics for managers.
