r its robust security, centralized control, and seamless handling of sensitive data, especially large files, through a unified platform that simplifies compliance (GDPR, HIPAA) and integrates secure file sharing, email, and APIs, making data governance easier and reducing risk for internal and external communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very much reliable and safe to share sensitive information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the core problem of securing, tracking, and controlling sensitive content as it moves into, within, and out of an organization. It eliminates "tool soup"—the dangerous, unmonitored use of disparate email, file sharing, and Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools—by unifying them into a single Private Data Network.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Kiteworks has a strong focus on security and compliance, offering robust access controls, encryption, and detailed audit logs that provide confidence when handling sensitive data. I appreciate the centralized visibility it offers, making it easier to monitor and manage file sharing across teams and external partners. These features make it especially valuable as they allow us to share sensitive information with confidence, and they reduce risk, improve accountability, and simplify secure collaboration with external partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where Kiteworks could improve is usability for new users, as the interface can feel complex at first due to the platform’s strong security features. Initial configuration and policy setup may also require more time or technical knowledge. Additionally, some integrations and customization options could be expanded to make the platform more flexible for different workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Kiteworks for secure file sharing and managing sensitive data, ensuring confidential files are safely shared and stored. Kiteworks solves security challenges with strong controls and encryption, aiding in compliance and providing visibility into file access.

Kiteworks has seamless integration with multiple platforms which promotes to a great workflow that has seen high productivity in the company.

It solves the problem of sending sensitive files over emails or public cloud platforms by providing a secure encrypted way to share documents between our teams without fear of our data being attacked.

I like Kiteworks because it has a strong focus on security with full visibility and control, especially when sharing data outside the organization. Its biggest strength is that every file, email, or transfer is encrypted and governed, which allows organizations to control who accesses data, for how long, and under what conditions. We switched to Kiteworks to improve security, compliance, and visibility over sensitive data exchanges.

The interface feels dated and less intuitive, especially for new or non-technical users.
