Flexible and functional
What do you like best about the product?
AirTable's multiple views for the same dataset allow for maximum flexibility and ease of access, and the synchronisation and links between tables support quick and accurate entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the best features are premium only, which is definitely worth the price for some uses. The speed of development means that the learning curve never flattens off, as good as the new features always are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using AirTable for novel writing project management. With one tool I'm able to track my projects and deadlines, build detailed timelines and character records, and keep a record of ideas and wishlists.
Airtable is amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is an all encompassing MVP backend platform for SMB's that need a data strategy and scaleable database. Data, Automations, Interfaces and external integrations make Airtable perfect for new teams and businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only major drawback to Airtable at the moment is it's base record-limit of 50,000 records (as of 11/15/2022) which can create issues down the road for growing data needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves MVP development needs when creating apps, houses company data for reporting needs, holds data for business logic and can act as a relational database to set the business up for success if they need to upgrade their data strategy in the future
This is key for organizing my life and work
What do you like best about the product?
The structure is very intuitive, and it helps me keep everything straight. I really appreciate all their templates. Not only did they allow me to start using airtable effectively right away, it also was the best way for me to learn about what airtable can do. It gave me a baseline, and then I could ask myself "oh, it can do this, but can it do?!" And then I would go watch a training video and learn that yep, it can.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not airtable's fault, but often times I get hindered by the free version. The free version is generous by all accounts, but I don't have license to pay for it from my company. Every time I have an idea it's usually a feature that's behind the paywall. Once I'm no longer entry level it's a service I'd happily pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly I need something that helps me remember things and where they stand in the completion process that's also flexible. I love that I can build a table and then change it as my work systems develop, people come and go, or I just begin thinking differently.
Great tool to automate processes and build the databases
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility of the setup – you could configure the table as you like and create the automations on how to populate it, be it directly or via forms. It allows to connect different tools, for instance Slack, emails, Jira
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be hard for other non-techy users to adopt it and understand how to use it. Could be bridged by the good training.

Organise the knowledge base of our research, the request management, the roadmap management – it allows for connecting entities many2many and also, getting the processes automated
AirTable is a Phenomenal Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy customization. Can do anything you want. Excellent UI. Endless possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability (that I'm aware of) to add free, view-only users to your base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of core HR processes. Easy insight into key metrics for management team. Tracking of all HR tasks and follow ups and administration.
Airtable is AHMAZING
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes all of our work so much faster and easier. We can collect and sort data, add automated notifications, emails, and functions. It's easier to set up than some other forms and easier to collect different kinds of information and share them.
What do you dislike about the product?
For users who aren't comfortable with tech, it may take a minute to get the hang of building an Airtable--but the benefits are so great that it's worth it. They're constantly adding improvements to help users feel more comfortable using all the powerful features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping our small team manage registrations and data for multiple programs quickly and cheaply. We are so much more productive and our customers have a better experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love we can use kanban, calendar view, etc and also the way we can filter the views depending of the person needs when is a shared base, this is very helpful and the automations is another think I love.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way it seems when a lot of projects are listed because it is very noisy. However I know we can hide them or filter them to don't see that too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable help us to organize and collaborate on different projects across the entire company, which is great to have the capability, also the way we can do forms and receive the answers to the bases
Accomplishing more in less time and evolving my proficiencies
What do you like best about the product?
Simple data entry method with email automation to cut back on my time doing senseless emails. The level of customizable organization sections I can create provides me great insight for my next steps as a account rep, not to mention in my personal life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. I am still learning how much this program can do and need to do more on these Webinars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a sales rep who also runs his own marketing, the data that's being collected is allowing me the insight to discover where I can and need to place more emphasis on either new or existing clients.
Makes my life so much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Airtable to manage the production of a quarterly magazine. It makes it so incredibly easy for me to assign articles and deadlines, keep track of progress, and maintain a database of contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint about Airtable is that you can't archive bases or put them into folders. I typically create a new base for every new issue of the magazine, and it would be ideal to be able to archive them once an issue is complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable's ability to filter and tag team members makes it so much better than Google Sheets or similar for keeping track of projects and maintaining databases.
Customizable for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I use Airtable to maintain my customer list, inventory, sales records, shipping, and expenses for my small business. I love that I can tailor it specifically to my needs - for example, tracking vendor events and linking sales and inventory for a specific event, or tracking customer order history, patterns, and likes/dislikes. I also love that I can create grid views for a variety of conditions so I can view the current state of my business from different perspectives, from sales to inventory to cash flow to frequency of purchases from individual customers. Lastly, I love that I can access Airtable on my computer where I do most of my work, but also on mobile devices when I'm on the go and need access to information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to customizing it to suit your needs. That's just the nature of something that is so infinitely customizable, but it's good to recognize that it will take a little bit of time to learn how to get it set up specifically to your needs. It's not difficult, but does take some time and practice. However, if you know someone that is in a similar situation using Airtable, you can share bases with others and get a head start that way. There are also starter examples that are very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows me to run my business from anywhere. I particularly like that even when I am on the go, if I get a message from a customer asking if they'd ordered a specific item in the past, or if I can remind them of their tracking number, and I'm away from the office, I can look it up easily on the mobile app and get back to that customer right away. It helps me to be more efficient and gives me more flexibility in how and where I work my business.
