Very handy in picking up top, interesting news

What do you like best about the product?
The channel alert system that allowed for top-reach filters was very helpful in sorting and flagging news to our attention. The Meltwater interface is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the dashboard widgets kept being reset or were slow to load, which was sometimes bothersome, but still understandable as data needs to be reloaded. I wish some of the custom time frames could be saved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helped us track and view our presence in the media

What do you like best about the product?
Clean, effective, and it is easy to track media and see the impressions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didnt like how archived reports were no longer available to download. The solution would be able to make it more readily available and downloadable whenever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Klear is solving the time needed to review media, cuts down my time by a significant portion with centralized campaigns

Compliance Life Saver!

What do you like best about the product?
My company uses Meltwater to monitor our clients' social media activity and assist with our sales process. Monitoring is very vital in my department, Compliance. With 460+ clients, we need to ensure that all protocols are being followed when it comes to hosting events, speaking about certain topics, and collecting donations. But as you can imagine, without a tool, that would be nearly impossible.
Meltwater has caught so many mentions of events that we were never told about. This has saved us in multiple situations, because of the MW alert, we then reach out to the client to get the information they failed to provide in the first place. Meltwater is protecting our 501c3 status by alerting us to things that are out of compliance, so we can address them as soon as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about Meltwater. There is always someone available to assist, and it's a platform that benefits our entire team. One place of improvement, if I had to pick, would be within the searches. I wish it was more obvious which searches were currently being used in alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has given us the ability to monitor more than 460 clients' social media platforms, which helps us "catch" clients that aren't following protocols and being noncompliant. This is lifesaving for our business as Meltwater alerts us to any activity we have deemed "red flag criteria" and we can then reach out to the client to address it promptly.

Amazing platform

What do you like best about the product?
Klear is so visual and simple to use. The data is easy to understand, extremely valuable and easy to display and demonstrate to colleagues outside of our discipline. It contains all the data you need to know when evaluating the value and impact of a campaign or influencer on your brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it really has everything I need. I wouldn't change a thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Klear is helping us match and evaluate influencers that resonate with our brand. It is also helping us be more productive by focusing on the relationships and campaigns that matter.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Klear gives a nice overview over the profiles, the demographics, the interests, top content, and so on.
I also like the discovery, its really easy to find nice profiles to our campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides is that we have hard to get the right numbers in a campaign and that you can not inviite influencers without creating a campaign. It had been nice to have a link you can send to the profiles that you are working a lot with and ask them to sign uo to klear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We speed up the workflow and don't need to summarize each campaigns by ourself. We just need to find out how we can get the right numbers to the campaigns.
We can easily find new profiles to work with.

Meltwater Makes Syndicating Content Easy, But Doesn't Always Work.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Meltwater is scheduling posts well in advance and viewing them in a calendar. The syndication among different social platforms also saves time. Sending press releases to media contacts at the click of a button also increases efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater analytics aren't as accurate and comprehensive as the Meta Business Suite. The mailing lists for press releases do not update when people unsubscribe or change companies. Sometimes pictures don't populate when I build posts, and there are times when Meltwater doesn't load at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I brought up concerns that our organization appears in the news but won't populate in the Meltwater software. They were able to fix that. They are also building a newsletter portion in to the software and that may be a great asset in the future.

Good birds-eye view of social chatter

What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use Meltwater for social listening email alerts across our roster of Asian artists – it has been especially useful for identifying tweets from influencers or notable artists, which can inform time-sensitive creative marketing decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be hard to tell if I am actually getting a full survey of available chatter, especially on platforms outside of Twitter. It would be great to gain greater access and control when it comes to UGC from TikTok and YouTube in particular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me automatically track what is being said about our music artists across online media and Twitter, which can help inform brand PR and creative marketing decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Meltwater is that we are able to collaboratively work with our writers and team members to draft and review social media posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One part of Meltwater that could be improved is the notifications for comments on approvals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows us to manage all of our social media for all of our different brands in one place.

Useful Tool for News Filtering

What do you like best about the product?
Overall I enjoyed Meltwater. Based on my pre-set filters, the morning news feed was an easy way to receive important and relevant news. I would consider using meltwater again once our company grew and had a more significant sales presence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on the size of our company some of the marketing features were not applicable to us. It could be better if there were features for smaller companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me get valuable information on licensing deals straight to my inbox.

Great for Media Listening and Superb Customer Service

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater continues to be the leading tool for media listening — if you know a little boolean, you'll have no trouble setting up basic searches to find what you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Meltwater is great for media listening, monitoring and basic social management (making posts, replying to comments), the reporting available around community management (easily reviewing all tagging data, sentiment, inbound/outbound messages broken down by platform, etc) is lacking. That being said, my points of contact at Meltwater have been monumentally helpful in working with me to circumvent some of these shortcomings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater Conversations makes it easy to keep track of customer communications, which helps my team as we sift through a significant volume of inbound messages per day.
