My experience with meltwater is good, just think there could be more features to make it stand out.
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful for me is the engage platform to schedule social media posts. Also, I like seeing all engagement from each platform in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform often disconnects, and my posts do not get posted, and I do not receive any notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What is helpful is Meltwater's reports on social media analytics.

There is nothing I dislike about meltwater. It is user-friendly.

Customer service is excellent. When we need help with a report, they are quick to respond and ready to meet deadlines.

We use PR Newswire to distribute press releases because they get better pick-up.

The best tool for media analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitiveness of its approach is the best part of Meltwater. Having the functionality to save searches and filter for sentiment is also extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure this is a dislike, but there are so many tools that sometimes I am not sure if I'm leveraging it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Constantly trying to stay on top of media mentions and this is difficult without Meltwater. Certainly has made me more productive!

Everything within one platform, which is good for busy management personnel.

It includes the categorization feature. Which allows me to categorize stories by tiers, months and type of story.

Stories can sometimes get lost or misplaced, making it easy to make mistakes.

Amazing tool for the $!
What do you like best about the product?
Profile search includes cross-platform statistics which allows us to inform our deliverable asks. Also, the tool allows search and save so I can retap for later potential collabs.

Tiktok search feature is sort of weak (ie. if they're not on IG at all), sometimes the tool has trouble finding the profile.
Also, true reach and est. contracted cost is extremely misquoted (true reach number reports way higher than we've seen, quote estimate has been *way* higher than klear reports)

View through of creators' demographic stats, previous brand partnerships and additional platforms creators have clout -- sometimes we find them on (say) Instagram and realize they have a great YouTube following and so we incorporate that into our creative brief/strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater appeals to me because of the versatility it provides. It offers a wide range of features that help me stay up to date with news, media and social networking. My favorite part is how user-friendly it is-you don't have to be a technology or coding expert to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to find specific information or compare different data sets. Also, the heart rate tracking is not as accurate or comprehensive as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes it easy to find and send personalized emails to the right media contacts. This saves me time by eliminating the need to manually research each outlet. Meltwater also provides analytics that allow me to see how my outreach is impacting potential customers or partners, so I can quickly measure success!
