What do you like best about the product?
Global coverage of news is a good feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to reach proper channels using outreach. Get results back that don't fit industry or are not related to product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place to track social posts - works well for scheduling and posting. Monitoring competitor social posts and news.

Not good for nonprofit social listening

What do you like best about the product?
Email capability to reporters is good at first glance. It seems comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social listening is difficult; dashboards don't help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For now it only helps us with news release distribution. The social media component isn't working at all.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater offered great insights into who was mentioning my organization online. It also has great educational content for leveraging media and marketing spend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our contract did not cover television, newspaper or radio although I was led to believe that it would. This left me still needing to research those media hits and manually record those impressions. I have mentioned this to Meltwater and given feedback that the value is not worth the high price you pay for both, especially if you are in a small media market like ours and only want local media reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me to understand the value of our media relations and the value of others' social media mentions.

What do you like best about the product?

Their social listening tool is great and easy to use! It makes it easy to stay on top of online conversations with alerts and daily email reports in your inbox.

The community management tools and features need improvement, but they do the job.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is a tool that allows me to monitor the spread of a topic on social media quickly and intuitively, making my daily work easier. The implementation and training of new users are also straightforward, thanks to the well-designed interface

Meltwater could provide the possibility to classify data based on the source's relevance: sometimes, the result from a personal blog has the same prominence as that from a nationally recognized newspaper

What do you like best about the product?
Their real-time pickups of our key words, all the metrics that are made available to us thru the platform, and their tech support.
What do you dislike about the product?
the inaccurate pickups though I know that it's really challenging

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can use boolean searching to get as precise as possible, especially when coupled with the option to filter out certain kinds of hits (e.g. financial/market reports).
What do you dislike about the product?
I often had to add media hits for my clients despite the publication being tracked my Meltwater and the article not being behind a paywall. Additionally, a significant amount of the time, publications in the database did not have reach information or that information was incorrect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes it easier to find contacts for journalists and gives a decent macro-level picture of trends which saves me time and energy from doing it by hand using internet searches.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the social media engage platform and the news items that get sent to us each morning. That really makes them stand out above other programs
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support is not always there and the system can be a bit buggy to use. They are often so focused on growing the platform and its offerings and ensuring customers get paid more than bettering what is already in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They offer a social media management which most do not which is great.
