The foundation of all PR work
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the platform because it compiles all the necessary tools to manage the process before, during, and especially after working on a PR campaign or even a new product launch in the market. I like that they not only have all the solutions for clients but also keep them updated, staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies. The feeling is one of security in decision-making and data gathering. The support and internal team are always quick and focused on finding solutions, very attentive.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the licenses are not flexible when it comes to acquiring exactly what the client needs, meaning that when more functions are required, one has to pay more and ends up acquiring additional tools in the license that are not necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, we did not had any analytical resources, so we can say that the tool solved all our problems. Today, we can analyze and measure campaigns, and gather all the necessary information about them and others, especially regarding the competition.
Good service and platform
What do you like best about the product?
Love the fact you can report on any campaign you run with ease, and then easily report on them. It's also useful to see how competitors/fellow companies are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit on the pricer end of the spectrum
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us monitor the media coverage we get, as previous to this, we had to manually monitor it and track trends
Shady renewal practices and an okay platform
What do you like best about the product?
The social posting feature is fine. I like the ability to export PowerPoint. The social reporting feature is also fine, but not super customizable. The monitoring tool is helpful to pull in news mentions of the company or client mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I signed up to use Meltwater, as I was promised that it could be used as an employee advocacy tool, where I could share articles and posts for my employees to share out on their own social media accounts. It does do that, but only for a total of 5 accounts at my price ($14K per year), which... 4 of those are taken up by the company accounts. Then, I asked if I could compile a newsletter or report out of the articles I had found. You can, but for it to look nice, you also have to pay extra. Also, you can't tag people on LinkedIn posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does pull together cross channel metrics for social media.
Mighty Powerful Communications Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to do a deep dive into our communications effectiveness with the tools available on this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit overwhelming to learn how to efficiently use the platform.

Puts all the data in one place

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is easy to use but anytime I need assistance, my rep is a phone call away and works with me to achieve whatever needs I have. In addition, the training is top notch!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not integrated to LinkedIn, which I know has been in the works.

Giving quantification to our PR initiatives.
User friendly, innovative platform
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's free learning platform compliments its user friendly platform very well, making new tech easy to learn!
What do you dislike about the product?
AI is not the easiest thing to learn, so programming Boolean can have a learning curve for media monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instant alerts. This helps us deliver news timely.
Klear Review
What do you like best about the product?
Klear has been an exceptional tool for Influencer marketing for the past 3 years. It is easy to use and provides tons of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could have a larger calendar look for all partnerships to see whats coming up and when for all of our clients.

the tool helps us calculate EMV and is great for helping us naviagate through influencers with an authentic audience

Superior Industry Insights
What do you like best about the product?
The Meltwater summit truly offered insights for people of all industries. Not only was I able to gain valuable insight into supporting me in my role and industry, I was able to hear how other industries are functioning in such a communicative world.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I do not fully understand the interface of it some times, and it takes me a minute to understand where to find things. But once I find them I am able to use them how I like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in an industry that can be so full of misinformation it is great to be able to see the root of the attacks.

The metrics feature. Love being able to analyze on our social media metrics easily.

The price of new features is sometimes too high for my company to add on.

Helps us find new media markets to enter. Helps us track social media data and manage our accounts easily.
