Revolutionized Our IT Automation Process
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and flexible Tines is to use. The no-code builder allows non-developers like me to automate complex processes quickly. It integrates with any API, so I can connect AWS, GCP, CrowdStrike, Splunk, and Jira without needing custom connectors. The AI features like Story Co-pilot are genuinely helpful for building and troubleshooting. Setup was super easy, taking less than 10 minutes. The drag-and-drop interface is a game-changer, letting anyone on my team build workflows without coding knowledge. It speeds up processes significantly and empowers team access. The Tines Co-pilot even helps write regex to parse data just by describing my needs. I also appreciate the pre-built SOAR actions for security-focused tasks and how it connects tools seamlessly. Overall, Tines saved us considerable development time compared to building solutions internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
3 main pain points: 1. Large workflows get messy — 50+ step stories are hard to debug/trace. Needs better high-level visual map. 2. Error messages — Sometimes too generic. “Action failed” without saying which API field broke. 3. Version control — No native git-like diffs. Hard to track changes when multiple people edit a story.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tines to automate repetitive security and IT workflows, cutting SOC triage time significantly, streamlining onboarding, and enabling tool integration without coding. It eliminated hours of manual work and saved us around 20x dev time versus building internally.

Powerful, Flexible Automation But Complex Workflows Need Better Navigation and Debugging
What do you like best about the product?
Tines stands out for its intuitive UI/UX combined with powerful automation capabilities. The drag-and-drop workflow builder makes it easy to design, visualize, and troubleshoot complex processes without needing heavy coding, which significantly reduces development time. At the same time, it still allows for deep customization when needed, striking a great balance between simplicity and flexibility.
The platform’s integration capabilities are a major strength it connects seamlessly with a wide range of tools and APIs, making it highly adaptable across different use cases. This has helped streamline workflows and eliminate repetitive manual tasks, improving overall efficiency.
Performance wise, Tines is reliable and scalable. Even with complex workflows and higher volumes of events, execution remains consistent and predictable, which is critical in production environments.
Another highlight is the strong ROI. By automating routine processes, it saves significant time and reduces operational overhead, allowing teams to focus on higher-value work.
Finally, the support and onboarding experience have been solid, with helpful documentation and responsive assistance when needed. The platform is also continuously evolving, with new features (including AI-driven capabilities) that enhance automation and decision-making over time.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Tines is a powerful platform, there are a few areas where it could improve. The UI is intuitive for simpler workflows, but as workflows grow in complexity it can feel cluttered and become harder to navigate. When managing large automation pipelines, it can take extra effort to keep everything organized and to debug issues, and stronger visualization and structuring tools would help.
On integrations, Tines supports a wide range of APIs, but some connectors still require manual configuration. For teams expecting more out-of-the-box integrations, this can increase initial setup time.
Performance is generally reliable, but debugging and tracing problems in complex workflows can sometimes be time-consuming, especially when multiple actions depend on each other.
From a pricing standpoint, it may be less accessible for smaller teams or organizations, particularly as usage scales. A more flexible pricing model could improve accessibility and ROI for growing teams.
Support is helpful, but onboarding for new users could be smoother, especially for people without prior experience with automation tools. More guided templates or clearer learning paths would make adoption easier.
Finally, while the AI capabilities are evolving, there is still room for deeper integration of intelligent automation features to reduce manual intervention further and improve decision-making.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Tines, a lot of our workflows involved manual intervention, fragmented tooling, and repeated effort across systems. Tasks like monitoring events, triggering actions, and coordinating between different platforms required significant human effort, which increased response times and the risk of errors.
With Tines, we’ve been able to centralize and automate these processes through structured workflows. It allows us to connect multiple systems seamlessly and trigger actions in real time, eliminating repetitive manual work. This has significantly improved operational efficiency and consistency across workflows.
One of the biggest benefits has been faster response and resolution times. Automated workflows ensure that critical actions are executed instantly without delays, which is especially valuable in time-sensitive scenarios. Additionally, it has reduced dependency on manual oversight, allowing the team to focus on more strategic and high-value tasks.
From a scalability perspective, Tines enables us to handle increasing volumes of events without a proportional increase in effort. What previously required multiple people or constant monitoring can now be managed through automation, leading to better resource utilization.
Overall, Tines has helped streamline operations, reduce errors, and improve productivity, delivering clear ROI through time savings and more efficient workflow management.

Transformative Automation for Procurement Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Tines simplifies complex procurement workflows while being easy to use. The visual, no-code/low-code workflow builder is particularly valuable because it allows me to design and modify workflows quickly without needing heavy technical support. This is a huge advantage when handling processes like supplier onboarding, approvals, and reporting that involve multiple stakeholders. I also appreciate the seamless integration with procurement tools like Coupa and SAP Ariba because it connects platforms and unifies data across systems. The real-time automation and alerts for approval reminders, supplier follow-ups, or contract renewal alerts ensure everything happens proactively without manual tracking. Additionally, the reusability and scalability of workflows are efficient; for example, once a supplier onboarding workflow is built, it can be reused across different categories or regions. Transparency and auditability are crucial, and Tines makes every step traceable, which is important for compliance and governance.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Tines has been very effective overall, there are a few areas where I think it could be improved, especially for procurement use cases: Managing complex approval logic can become harder as workflows grow in complexity. Deeper native integrations with procurement platforms like Coupa and SAP Ariba would reduce setup time. Workflow visualization at scale can become visually cluttered. Better debugging and error tracing tools are needed for quicker issue resolution. Having more procurement-specific templates or use cases could speed up adoption.
