All the fun of software engineering without low-level code debugging
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity, ease, and speed at which I can prototype solutions/ automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some subtle nuances when using their formulas/functions that aren't clearly documented/
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines allowed me to develop a workflow that automatically remediate MDM compliance issues with our asset fleet.
Tines provide easy automation with pain free coding
What do you like best about the product?
Tines is an easy tool with built-in templates that helps us create stories with little coding. It provides easy and simplified automation. It also enables SOC team to utilize SOAR capabilities without any depth knowledge on APIs. Ability to reuse parts of playbooks and share with other teams. The best part of Tines is that it integrates into any service that has an API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much to dislike for now. But for the complex automation part, we need to add some variables within the code part.In case if you have no idea for coding, it will create little confusion, but there are action templates that will help out to figure things.3 labs are available for free, I hope more labs will be added to get some more clarity on the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines is an easy-to-use platform for creating SOAR workflows.es automation very fast without any coding. It helps to build any logic or stories in a shorter period using action templates. It's suitable for SOC and also reduces the time for response.
Great Product - It's Like Having a Team of Security Engineers!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy, versatile, and cost-effective for automation of random security tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tasks can be hard to debug, like Google JWT auth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IR automation, Security alert flows, security data enrichment, and other random stuff.
Tines removes the need for us to have random serverless scripts or docker containers, all doing single focused tasks and ocaisinaly breaking.

Tines
What do you like best about the product?
Easy automation , clear view of stories, Quick action templates
What do you dislike about the product?
The trainer is not good; he is like a rapper and need to have some pre-defined videos
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
90% is sloving my problems
Tines makes complicated automations / stories easy to design / deploy.
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is straightforward and focused on providing the most efficient & quick way to design/deploy a story.
The out of the box stories are really good and cover a lot of the common usecases.
The out of the box stories are really good and cover a lot of the common usecases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing the context of the story, debugging and running tests should be easier, stories should be integrated with Github so that you can back up and also write/adjust stories as Code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the informative tasks, such as alert delivery, alert context enrichment, user interactions (replaces SOC tier 1) and automatic workflows for investigating incidents.
Customised automation
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to Tines, I've used a couple of tools for automation, but most of them require the integration of tools to be supported. With Tines, I can automate processes that I struggled with before.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a steep learning curve for new users. It can get frustrating to figure things out in the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines allows me to customise my automations to a granular level.
Flexible platform, helpful support
What do you like best about the product?
While still new to the Tines platform, so far it has proven to be flexible enough to meet various use cases while at the same time not being overly burdensome to manage. Every time I've engaged with their support and sales engineers they've been extremely helpful and answered any questions we've had in-depth while walking us through exactly how to do that within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still early as I'm new to the platform, but I'd like to see more items in their story library, but it's not a deal breaker today as they cover many of the common initial use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing manual processes, enriching cases, and speeding up investigation times.
Great support
What do you like best about the product?
The support is pretty good thus far so still working through the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as easy to use as the salesperson impressed upon us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating vulnerability management - specifically triage, ticketing and reporting.
A flexible and simple automation solution.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has a large variety of prebuilt templates for integration with other tools or systems. Additionallyy, if the template doesn't already exist, it is easy to add new ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have missed the possibility of adding logic to the connections between actions. Since the logic is contained inside the actions, sometimes the same conditional needs to be repeated in several action nodes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like with many automation solutions, Tines is helping us reduce the time that our analysts need to dedicate to tasks with no added value. A benefit particular to Tines is that the web-oriented structure of the stories makes it simple for partial solutions to be added as buttons in other portals or dashboards.
Love automation with Tines
What do you like best about the product?
ability to very easily interact with APIs and webhooks and JSON responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is not as detailed as I would like. There should be more liquid samples of different scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation between systems and bandwidth for small team.
