What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the integrations work perfectly without any problems, clear documentation and an objective dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Factor of not having integration with WhatsApp, Telegram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to send push notifications from my delivery system to customers, and since it's a web app, without the native part, using the system for this was great.

What do you like best about the product?
SDK is well-documented, and the sample code made it easy to set up rich push notifications, custom user segments, and in-app messaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have more built-in templates or design flexibility for in-app messages on iOS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a reliable way to re-engage users without building a backend from scratch. OneSignal took care of the entire notification system, allowing our dev team to focus on building core features instead of infrastructure.

Great option for startups

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great plans for startups who does not have the audience yet to be making review. They offer free plan which is for limited users and for a startup who don't want to pay huge amount for push notification when they have not yet grown is the best strategy one can offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently I live everything about OneSignal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are providing push notification service with maintained libraries across platforms and they don't charge for small business startups who has limited number of users. This created engaging relationship and we would love to pay when we hit the big user base.

OneSignal Review: A Powerful Cross-Platform Messaging Solution for Businesses

  • July 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fast Setup: You can get started in under 15 minutes with minimal code, thanks to detailed documentation and SDKs.

All-in-One Messaging: Managing web push, mobile push, in-app messages, email, and SMS from one place saves a ton of time and ensures consistent messaging.

Advanced Automation & Segmentation: You can trigger messages based on user behavior (like cart abandonment or inactivity), helping to drive engagement and conversions automatically.

Generous Free Tier: Up to 10,000 subscribers on the free plan is great for startups and small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email and SMS Features Still Developing:

Compared to leaders like Mailchimp (email) or Twilio (SMS), OneSignal’s offerings in these areas feel less mature.

The design flexibility, analytics depth, and deliverability tools are still catching up.

Pricing at Scale:
For businesses with very large subscriber bases, the cost can increase rapidly, especially when using multichannel messaging (email + SMS + push).

Some premium features are gated behind higher plans, which can be limiting for growing teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Budget Constraints: Generous Free Tier
Problem: Startups and small sites often can’t afford expensive tools.

OneSignal’s Solution:
Their free plan includes up to 10,000 web push subscribers, along with key features such as segmentation and testing.

Benefit:
Allows growing businesses to scale engagement without breaking the bank
