What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sollid Edge help me to create 3D models very fast. It can open and combine different formats (autocad, solidworks, creo, etc) in the same project reducing the design time.

the need to frequently download update packages

Integration with Teamcenter, Solid Edge files are simple and easy

syncrhonous mode makes modeling simpler and easier to create, in addition to connectivity with other software

lack of some features that we have in NX and the need to always have to download an external application such as STD parts or NESTING, I believe they should be integrated

Slow to introduce new features and some of the features don't work as adverstised

Accurately design the products with PMI and use it for CAM and CMM

What do you like best about the product?
Synchronous mode is the perhaps the best feature of Solid Edge, significantly reducing development of new designs by eliminating the history/feature tree.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's getting better, many commands require too many clicks, and parts of the interface still feel old.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synchronous mode speeds up development time. Parts Lists, along with Teamcenter EBOMs, are allowing us to eliminate our old, non-associative, manually created spreadsheet parts lists.

Solid edge has synchrounious Technology which is incredebily amazing especially for us young designerrs

There is not enough community videos on youtube on solid edge to help new users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solid edge translators are powerful which makes it easier for me to collaborate with a lote of people. Solid egde offers a lot of cloud solutions which solves my space issues and also makes it easier to collaborate with non CAD users
Effortless CAD Modifications with Synchronous Tech
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Designcenter Solid Edge throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from initial design to final validation. I appreciate that we can open models from different formats without converting them to a neutral format and edit them using Synchronous Technology. It's really great for handling large assemblies and editing non-native models, which saves a ton of time because I don't have to create the model from scratch. I find it really efficient in opening and editing large assemblies, which are usually heavy and problematic in other similar 3D CAD solutions. Also, I found the initial setup to be very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The selection of small entities (faces) is really hard at times. This is an old issue that has been reported for years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Designcenter Solid Edge to handle large assemblies smoothly and edit models from different formats directly, saving time and ensuring design optimization.

The interface between Teamcenter Share and Teamcenter PLM is excellent, creating a seamless environment for product lifecycle management (PLM) while making collaboration and data management easier.

Solid Edge don´t have many features for enjoy with a TOKENS.
Sycronous Tecnology how it combines parametric and direct modeling, allowing them to make instant changes to geometry without worrying about a complex history tree. This makes editing and working with imported files incredibly fast and flexible.

Best and fastest design software
What do you like best about the product?
Very good interface, user friendly menus,
It can be tricky to get into from other CAD systems out there but it has some amazing capabilities.
Very strong sheet metal design enviroment, which models almost everything you can think of.
Best in class assembly enviroment where it is just blazing fast and can do some very tricky and complicated assemblies.
I use it on a daily basis along side other platforms and it outpreforms all of them

I really miss the old designs.
Siemens has chosen to make it more similiar to NX anad other siemens products.
Some user interfaces are now are harder to use then before, I guess it will need to get use to.
Other then that need to get it running more fast on large assemblies.

We are acheiving faster market times.
We have greatly reduced times for going into manufacturing, faster design itterations and increased overall productivity.
Total of 4 workstations we have in our factory and we can streamline design reviews and communicate better.

What do you like best about the product?
Solid Edge is very user friendly,interface and advanced subdivision modeling for complex shapes improved synchronous technology for quick design changes and the one more thing is that SE enhanced simulation tools for accurate analysis and robust data management for large projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing so much to dislike SE, but there are some minor issue that i face while using SE experience slow performance and lag when working with very large assemblies or complex models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solid Edge is very beneficial for me and my organization it help us lot while working on design SE is designing very complex part and assemblies.and offers integrated simulation tools to test and optimize designs before manufacturing.
