Option and Configuration Heavy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion has a lot of optionalities, but it's a double-edged sword as it gets overwhelming very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to use for both internal and customer-facing aspects. There are many things we want to be compiled in one place, but not all of them we want to be exposed to our customers. Due to this, we had to duplicate efforts by creating an excel spreadsheet to track the onboarding process with our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's become an internal repository of information. It houses each department's handbooks and may process outlines. This is good that everything can be found in one spot. However, it gets very disorganized the more people use it for this purpose. We like Notion quite a bit, but it's not used for onboarding tracking anymore, only internal info.
All in one workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Improved AI agents and tools built in help with the flow of information, research, etc. The notion marketplace continues to expand making it easier to find templates for projects or starting points. I have not tried working with a notion expert yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can still take time to setup a project or work with more advanced work flows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is good for scheduling and organizing tasks for a team. You can assign task, set deadlines, and track a project. You can embed documents and links in the project as well and display the project information in a user friendly format.
Great system for leads and trainers
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is so great at housing all of our policies and step by step guides for new agents. We use it to not only track new agent progress through our training, but it also allows us to utilize guides and SOPs for coaching veteran agents. It's also a great place for us to share important information like announcements, big events, and the department organization chart
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can be a bit tricky to navigate, especially if you're unfamiliar with it. It takes awhile to really catch on and get the hang of locating various pages and dashboards as well as creating your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Notion, many of our guides and processes were in various Google docs. Now, they are all in one convenient place. Also, because all departments across the company can use it, it's made it easier to communicate between departments and keep up to date on what's going on across the whole company.
Amazing tool for organizing pretty much everything

The tool is very versatile and allowes us to:
1. Track and manage product development
2. Create runbooks and wikis for the tam to share knowledge
I have personally been in love with the app and the direction of development. I can see the user experience and features getting better in every update they make.
For a simple use case, the app let's you create pages and checklists. At the same time, for a more "pro" use cases, you can setup complicated database associations, formulas and rollups. It makes the process of organizing your information and data more fun.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. When I copy text from another text editor and paste it inside notion, the "enter" characters seem to disappear. I must leave an empty line between each consecutive line for copy-paste to work
2. If I create a formula to compile 2 "Person" attributes in a database, the result column is having a "String" type instead of "Person" type.

Best Documentation tool for Product designer
What do you like best about the product?
Notion helps me compile all my notes and list in one place, it is highly accessible and userfriendly as it did not take me a lot of time to learn this software and how to use it
What do you dislike about the product?
I usually use it to write or compile my case studies, but creating a portfolio on the notion is easy and not as customizable, I wish there were better options to customize the font styles, weight, and size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me easily create my design portfolio with various case studies, take random notes from my classes and the books that i read, and create a collection of design resources that are easily accessible when i need it.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes everything a block that can be dragged over, columned horizontally. Making writing and arranging paragraphs of Text a breeze.
Plus, contacting their Customer Support feels like you're talking to a helpful friend. They're so fast at responding and solving your problems as well.

It could get too complex if you got too drunk of its power.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to deal with Document files anymore, as everything cloud-synced and every Notion page is stackable inside it's own Pages.
So it's a Writing app as much as it's a Cloud service, right inside your Documents as well. All with Live collaboration features inside.
You also have the free-reign power of Web apps inside, you can embed YouTube videos, live cloud files of your other tools, right on your Documents.

Powerful and fast note taking app.
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most about Notion is its ability to use things like tables, spreadsheets, and embedded documents in its note/document.
Before Notion, I would need to rely on pasting in links from sources like Google Spreadsheet or direct to another document. With Notion, I can easily access all these within a Notion Doc, and the best thing of them all? They load almost instantaneously.

What do you dislike about the product?
I explored using it as the go-to knowledge center for my current team, but the pricing is on the steeper end. I am still evaluating the app when it comes to this regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to use multiple types of note-taking in Notion saves me a lot of time. Instead of jumping between multiple applications, I can now access most of the things I need in Notion.
Cleanest, meanest, and best tool for collaborative learning
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most about Notion is the ability to limit who I share information with and the clean interface allowing me to focus on what comes first. It has helped me form habits, info-dumps & create SOPs for my team to asynchronously learn from while I'm away.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still no alignment option for adding text in a certain manner, leaving me to play around with various other tools accessible with the "/" device. It could be a huge addition as I'd be able to blog, ideate and create ideas much more fluidly without worrying about the formatting!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is allowing me to share wiki-hows, SOPs, general company-wide information, documents that some groups need access to, manage projects with timelines, include databases of company-wide practices and more! It is seamless, relies very little on ambiguity, and has secure shared access. Not only that, I can publish to web and share links with people outside of the organisation.

Notion's UI and UX are intuitive and clean. I use it in my personal and professional life to stay organized.

The AI writing feature is nice but still developing, in my opinion.

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration is so easy, thanks to the live edit. There are also a lot of features that enable many use cases, whether we must create roadmaps, follow projects, write documentation, compute feedback or give access to specific content for our clients.
It is very easy to use and understand.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we tend to create too many pages, and we get lost in all our projects. The architecture is not always easy to understand.
Also I am missing a feature which is the possibility in toggle list to put a title (heading 1, 2, 3) and not just regular text.
And the inline table is not always easy to use. Having to add a database is a pain sometimes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving our need to gather all our documentation at one place for all teams. We use it for the documentation of all our product, from the studies we do to the final documentation, for product team, engineer, marketing and sales team. We also use it for reporting, meeting notes and better follow the status and state of our projects.
