Notion is my second brain 🧠 !
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking all of life's notes, projects , deadlines , goals in one place. It's customizable and has many templates. Most serious people use Notion as I have noticed on Twitter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well it's definitely a learning curve with Notion. Can seem overwhelming at first. Maybe a non pro mode somehow with less customization. I wish there was more integration with IOS notes, calendar, and reminders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well it's unifying all of my work, personal stuff. It's lao making our team Uber efficient and we can communicate better about deadlines , goals , milestones. We all use it every day!
The foundation of our communication
What do you like best about the product?
The product is so flexible that you can create every types of documentation. It connects databases and pages together so you don't write twice the same thing. This is perfect for a consistent knowledge base.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too flexible. It's hard to enforce rules of updates and form. You often end up with old pages here and there. Also the search is getting better but the noise makes it useless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asynchronous communication and evergreen team documentation.
Honestly the best database/information system for small business or teams
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of setting up a powerful related database. The integration (e.g. with make.com) means you can get it to automatically email, update other systems, or whatever you dream of. It's FAST. Instantly searchable. It's super configurable. I run my whole business on it and I can't imagine not having it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loading large lists sometimes takes a couple of seconds. Also dashboarding isn't very powerful - it needs a couple of features - like being able to summarise data in a dashboard style. It also could use the concept of an actionable 'button' that kicks off a webhook to further make the integrations more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatic emailing of task status, utilising make.com. I'm able to manage several projects at one time very efficiently
Notion for Enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
Notion does a fantastic job combining our various platforms into one location. This allows us to save time when researching nuanced material and quickly deliver the answers to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options when previewing a file or link. It seems it is all or nothing, with no compromise.
Having more starting templates based on the reason for using Notion would be helpful. There are some, but I don't feel these are as comprehensive as possible.
Having more starting templates based on the reason for using Notion would be helpful. There are some, but I don't feel these are as comprehensive as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows us to combine multiple sources into one common place. For example, some team members have built comprehensive Google Docs, while others use PDFs. Instead of forcing these users to move to one platform or another, we can combine them, and everyone wins.
Great way to structure data and organizations
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative work with all team members. Sharing processes and specifications. Collaborative meeting minutes. Brainstorming keeping all ideas. Being able to manage different type of information (reference data, projects, etc...)
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting does not work correctly
Not being able to list public pages without going to enterprise solution
Cut / paste contents with tables does not always work
Not being able to list public pages without going to enterprise solution
Cut / paste contents with tables does not always work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had many issues keeping an up to date documentation. Project specifications would be too static and would be a short term view of an evolution.
Great for Dynamic Team Workspaces & Wikis
What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve on Notion is minimal, which makes it a great tool for teams. It's fairly quick (and the team is always focused on improving speeds, it seems), and there's a pretty dynamic range of features. Also works well across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion lacks depth in database-adjacent functionality - you can't make graphs & charts, dashboards, etc. off of your data, without using limiting (and sometimes costly) third party integrations, which is a bummer. Formulas also feel like they get unnecessarily confusing on notion databases.
There's, consequently, sometimes a level of complex customization that you can't necessarily achieve with Notion.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes documentation & data for our team - having shared access that can be updated & reflected across the team is hugely helpful, especially as a remote org.
Notion is great for team notes and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to house and organize information in Notion. It's a great space to document workflows and procedures, company policies, etc. It's also very user friendly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of! It's easy to build documents and workspaces, and also easy to find what I need when I need it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is one intuitive space where our internal knowledge base lives. It's easy to keep things organized and ensures that our team always has access to documents and procedures when they need it.
Great app for product management, templates, and programs.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization of most features. The interactivity with a database is wonderful, and being able to create different views for each section is great. I like the sharing option so I can have a client view the work; however, it would be great if they could add their own opinions or fill in the data on a form and have it save on the backend for my use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could create folders for different pages and projects - like if I have a folder called Clients, I want to make another folder for the client name, then another for the type of content or database I'm building.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a platform where I could create living documents and tracking tools. I started using Notion when a real estate coach gave us access to a fantastic template she built. After utilizing and experimenting with other templates, I created several pieces that would benefit many.
Notion is a powerful program for a variety of uses and they are improving it all the time
What do you like best about the product?
I started with Notion a few years back. It works across my devices, and I can connect outside users in a team to share information on a project. It’s a powerful program, and I am not using nearly all the features/capabilities it offers. The Notion developers continue to add features. One example is that they have enabled a beta AI which is pretty interesting (regardless of where you stand on 'AI'). Also, I use a Notion clipper extension available for Chrome, which is great for quickly adding web page content that I want to review or keep.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve (which I have yet to master). I think that with a powerful app like Notion, you have to spend a bit of time to figure out how to make it work best for your purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep track of projects and events I am working on, including coordination across projects within an organization. My work involves multitudes of details, so having separate sets of notes within notes and creating filters and connecting them is invaluable. Also, it's just great for note-taking and keeping that type of thing organized.
I needed this—BADLY.
What do you like best about the product?
My friend told me about notion years ago but I didn't listen. It's because I didn't understand What notion was and how it works. But I decided this year that I would take the time to just understand it before I dismissed it. Best decision I could have made.
I used to use a million different apps at the same time to stay organized. I'd grab paper and pen, or open Notes app, or send myself a text whenever I needed to record a quick note. Then I'd have to file and sort it all out later.
Notion is so much more than a word processor. It is everything I need--whatever I need--in one place.
A habit tracker. A note-taker. A personal journal. A place where I make guidesfor students I help mentor. A place where I track college applications. A job tracker. A personalized career dashboard. A vision board. All in one. Many thanks to the notion team for your genius and labor.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's a few hiccups every now and then. Can't think of anything right now, but I'm really just grateful to have a tool like this available to me for free! What a blessing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was all over the place. Too many tools. Too many apps. Too many outlets. Now I just have one centralized tool.
