AI-Assisted Documentation Streamlined
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for creating knowledge transfer and handover documentation, and the new AI writing assistant has made capturing and organizing knowledge incredibly easy. The AI helps turn rough ideas and thoughts into clear, well-structured documentation, making knowledge management much more efficient. It has made documentation faster, and processes and internal handovers easier to create, update, and navigate. I really value the AI writing assistant for this. Notion's initial setup was very easy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion's AI writing assistant to transform rough thoughts into polished documentation efficiently, speeding up the creation, updating, and navigation of documentation and handovers. It makes knowledge management much more efficient.
Flexible Page Creation, Seamless Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's flexibility in creating different types of pages and being able to adjust almost everything to make it my own. The templates library is a huge help for me because when I'm starting a new project and don't want to start from scratch, I can easily find a template. Usually, I find something that's exactly what I'm looking for. Using these features saves me time, as I don't have to figure out how to build a project management page and can rely on the prebuilt material and templates. This allows me to quickly get to work without spending too much time in the ideation process, which saves both time and money.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the adoption of the AI capabilities has been slow on my end, mainly because I don't really see how I can integrate them more into my day-to-day operations, or maybe I'm just very used to using Notion the way I have. So I haven't really found that the AI tools have become an integral part of my day-to-day. I know they're there. I've used them. I've tested them, but I feel the natural integration of the AI capabilities is a bit off for my personal use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with organization, keeping everything on track, and doing project management effectively. It lets me share work with the broader company. The templates save me time by allowing me to start projects without building pages from scratch.

We absolutely love Notion! It saves us time and keeps everything organized in one place. I don't really find anything that doesn't work well, but maybe being able to change fonts would be nice.

I really like how easy Notion is to use, which makes it a one-stop hub for all things related to business, team management, client CRM, and details. The integrations allow seamless API access to pull in information, and the agents help organize everything, so I don't have to switch between multiple apps. The templates are great too, as they allow me to find new use cases and organize workspaces in different views across multiple teams. The initial setup was easy, which was a bonus.

Helpful AI and Slack Integration, Though Notion Faces Tough Competition

AI with Slack is an immense help. Also ability to use different models to write is very helpful as well

1. Not Notion’s fault but there is a general disagreement about using Notion vs Google docs. They both provide similar service.

1. Slack is amazing. I use Notion to capture Slack questions and expedite Slack searches.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion for its organization and template building features which help me keep my DnD campaign organized. It organizes session outlines and keeps my notes and plots organized, which is really useful. The initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the price of the AI feature and the automatic @mentions in Notion.

Desktop app is kind of bloated and slow at times. Multi-account behaviour is still kind of clunky

Consolidating documentation and planning across my team. Supporting rich media integration in documentation too - code blocks, diagrams, etc.

Chart representation can be better. There are limited options right now; they could be increased with various charts.

I like how easy it is to use Notion. It somehow knows how to pull the things I'm thinking in my head together and put it onto paper in a way that's easily understandable. I can just start a page, transcribe my thoughts freely, and it allows me to speak naturally and gather what's in my head, putting it down on paper. Notion helps me pull together my thoughts and crystallize all the stream of consciousness ideas I have into a coherent story that resonates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a little trouble navigating the page structure and getting these new transcripts into the proper place in my Notion account. I'm still learning and need to spend more time with Notion to become more familiar with all the features and how to really get the most out of it.

Notion helps me pull together and crystallize my thoughts, turning stream of consciousness ideas into coherent stories. It allows me to transcribe thoughts in a free-form manner, making them easily understandable on paper.
