Solid Note Tracking and AI Database
What do you like best about the product?
AI integration. Ability to build out an entire database worth of information that the AI can access and draw from to provide answers to questions. Easy enough to organize.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to understand how to start. The tutorial process could be better. Once you get into the swing of things, it's not terrible. I do wish that there was some kind of autofill that could look at how you are building a document and then offer you the same formatting or something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping to create one central Knowledge base where I can store all of the information and then use the AI to assist me in writing. I'm also using it to track projects.
Increase productivity and effectivness
What do you like best about the product?
It's the life organizer, stress relief, and satisfaction. I also really appreciate the AI Writer and it made me add all my writing in Notion. I use GPT 4 for longer writing but Notions AI is great for fine-tuning, short adding, and social media post creating.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is long, and I find the Task manager too complicated to set up, and it's too hard to add quick notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You don't have to spend time looking for things. Everything is organized. It increase productivity and satisfaction and lessens stress and frustration.
Helps me to find the signal in the noise
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Notion to organise my notes for postgraduate psychology degree. The AI feature has been invaluable as I've been using it to shorten and rewrite my ideas, as well as identify action items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love handwriting support as sometimes I write ideas down on my tablet and then transcribe them into Notion. I write these into OneNote.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with organising my ideas so I can find them quickly in the future. It also helps me check I'm not missing any key information. I enjoy having a second brain.
Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of managing my day-to-day task routine as well as being able to store all important information in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to find an appropriate template for a specific task and then it tasks a lot of time to create one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to write a lot of stuff for my area of work/research, and before AI assistant, it took a lot of time to do a google search and then collect all the relevant information in one place. Now, it's like magic happening in front of my eyes, and Notion's AI writing assistant is doing most of the painstaking tasks for me. Although I still need to read and sometimes make several adjustments in the response provided I feel like it is time worth spending on improving rather than collecting information from scratch. AI writing assistant is truly amazing. Although, I do say that the per-month cost is slightly higher.
A new level to learning and productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to ask notion Ai questions about something in a page makes learning and revising incredibly easy and much faster. It's ability to do outlines, give examples and more make it a great tool for students and even teachers
What do you dislike about the product?
When asking it to write math for any question, it doesn't actually right it correctly. There's a lot of formatting issues with it inside of notion, like it not using notion math formatting, code blocks aswell
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has help with finding information quickly and easily. With this I'm able to not only ask it questions about that information or any information for that matter but also easily use my revision planner and learn and revise much more effectively
Our Internal Operating System
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's API making all of our platforms interconnected, was the one thing that really made Notion a powerhouse utility for us. We use Notion for our internal standard operating procedures and to share a "wiki" of sorts with our clients and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve with Notion in learning the commands to be truly effective with the platform. If you are new to the platform I'd recommend learning the shortcuts and spend some time familiarizing yourself with each of the "blocks" and understand how they might be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us organize our projects in a way that is easy to understand and allows our team to search for context or related files easily. Notion's AI assistant has been helpful in creating content for our marketing agency clients and others that we consult with.
Absolutely Life-Changing
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can stay in Notion and use the AI when I take notes or journal is amazing. It is helping me so much, particularly as a neurodivergent person.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love more options to customise pages and the look of databases.

An Organizational and Productivity Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
While there are many different aspects about Notion that are noteworthy, the two factors that stand out are the ability to have database integration across several pages and the new integration of AI into the Notion workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is relatively minor, by far the biggest drawback of Notion is the complete lack of an integrated autocorrect, and a lackluster spellcheck. While this is not the end of the world, not having it available for note taking is particularly inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a student using Notion for all of my planning, note taking, and organization, the new implementation of AI into the workspaces has been a game changer. Whether it has to do with creating question sets based on notes, or helping to brainstorm project ideas, it has completely changed the way I use Notion.
Great tool for productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can give the context of what I'm doing and it will generate the answers to my prompts. I use it to write better emails, extend topics and explain code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I try to copy and paste to another app, the pasted content is not well formatted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever I have a blocker (writing, coding, reading), I can use Notion to assist me and the results are sometimes very inspiring.
AI writing assistant
What do you like best about the product?
It's quite fast and spot on when researching a topic. The speed is quite good. The content is easy to expand or simplify. The formatting is good and easy to read.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few areas to improve:
1. I use translation a lot. Sometimes, I have a paragrah of English, and I use space to call AI and it translate well. However, after I insert a new paragrah and ask AI to "translate the above content", the translation starts all over again from the very begining. This is very annoying. If AI can recoginize that I only want to translate the new paragrah, that would be great. I try not to use mouse too much. I hope I can just give simple promp to get the transation done instead of using the mouse and select the pagragraph to translate that part only.
2. formating. When I copy some content into Notion, there's no "paste only the content" option. This happens a lot from coppying words from slack conversaton. I always have to delete the "time" which is very inconvenient.
3. Is there a way to add "read" function with real voice? Sometimes when I do the research and copy paste a large amount of words. Can Notion AI read it to me instead of me reading the words?
4. Table. I don't think I can add any picture in any cell in a table.....

Notion helps me learn new technical knowledge before starting an unfamiliar topic and do research.
It also helps me write brief business plan and give me a starting point as to structures.
