Flexible and Powerful, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I personally like how you can link different pages to different places. It can be really flexible to use in whatever function we need best like as a documentation hub, project tracker, or database. I also like the history tab to make sure we can track who is making changes and how easy it is to edit and contribute. It allows for the information to stay connected rather than siloed.
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I find, as someone that is new to Notion with my current job, is that because it's so flexible and has so many features, sometimes it's difficult to get pages to do exactly what I want them to do. There are so many different types of things (blocks, charts, graphs, databases, layout options, tables, dashboards, etc.) that it can be a bit overwhelming. You can also build pages inside of pages inside of pages so can feel a bit like inception where it's hard for me to find where I am. Probably a 7 or so. I think it has the potential to be really flexible and work really well with everyone in a company. But it does have a large learning curve if you've never used it before. And we need to work on privatising more confidential meetings notes too. Currently, everything is available to everyone which is something we need to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes our knowledge for client work and deals, offers a live working space for the team, and connects information, avoiding silos. It facilitates documentation, project management, and CRM functions.

Equally, for an early stage company, a quick, easy, 'free' but very basic CRM alternative
Equally, for an early stage company, a quick, easy, 'free' but very basic CRM alternative
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all similar tools, it can get dis-organised and outdated super quickly. Had this issue across all companies I have used Notion and not sure if there will be a solution to this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing our information/SOPs/IP for future reference
Empowers Inter-Departmental Communication Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion for the way that I can structure different dashboards and overviews to share with other teams. It makes communication with departments easier and helps in organizing onboarding guidance. The ease of editing, changing visuals, and organizing content in Notion is also a big plus for me.

Sometimes editing, or trying to add a subpage, was not easy to find.

Effortless Note-Taking and Layout Design with AI Enhancements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that designing the layout in Notion is easy to use, and there are lots of AI functions that assist with both business and personal requirements. I find it easy to adopt the function, and it's simple to create new tasks or meeting notes with AI. The transition to Notion from another software is smooth for users. I was originally using OneNote, but now using Notion, and the experience is much better with many new functions and features not found in OneNote. The initial setup of Notion had no challenges at all; it was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having a more unified function to consolidate different meeting notes and create personalized action plans would be helpful. I'm still exploring these kinds of functions within Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies note-taking and saves time summarizing meeting notes and action points.
Clean Design, Intuitive Use but Slow with Large Tables
What do you like best about the product?
I love the clean design of Notion, it makes the experience enjoyable. Moreover, the application is very intuitive, which makes it easy to use on a daily basis. I appreciate the centralization of information that allows for a very practical fluidity of use for project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a dashboard is a bit heavy, it is slow. We see that many other tools are integrated, but it is more difficult to handle and it's a shame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes information and offers ease of use for project management.

Customizable Organization with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can organize everything with Notion and customize it to my needs. There's so many pieces I can integrate, like PDFs and pictures. I can change things around, make them bigger, and add columns, which I really appreciate. I use it especially for organizing my school life, having my syllabus on my page for each class is super helpful. The column feature helps me separate and organize everything, from my sign-in information to tracking how my grades are going and keeping my courses and assignments in focus. I can split up assignments to see what's due within seven days at the top and what's due within the month at the bottom. Plus, discovering templates has made setting up pages much easier for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like the database portion in Notion to be a little more intuitive and comparable to Excel. I'd like it to handle formulas better, like relating to another cell or even another database. I wish it could do everything that Excel does, but it's currently a bit limited. Also, the initial setup was overwhelming. The first time I used it, I felt it was too much and left it. I came back later and found templates online, which helped, but initially, it was hard to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing my life and schoolwork. It helps me keep my syllabus, organize my assignments, and visually track due dates with custom sections for upcoming tasks.
Notion Makes Docs and Task Tracking Effortless

Elevated Team Collaboration, Needs User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to keep weekly tasks organized and collaborative across our employees. I like the Notion AI tool as it helps us create and customize certain pages and databases, which is extremely useful since most of our team aren't experienced in coding or diving deep into the potential tools Notion provides. The AI tool helps us fast track tasks and create our team spaces with its assistance instead of manually, which is great for employees without much experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a little more ease of use improvements - a more friendly interface for Notion beginners as I believe the tools available can be utilized much more effectively with stronger inputs. The initial setup was slightly difficult and required a lot of adaptation to get accustomed to the tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep weekly tasks organized and collaborative, solving the problem of not having a whiteboard. It creates an efficient workspace, helps track team progress, integrates client files, and consolidates multiple services into one.
Flexible and Organized, Needs Better AI
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion to be quite flexible, allowing me to create any kind of pages to target different aspects, which really helps keep me organized. I also appreciate its ability to serve as a one-source method where everyone's using it, particularly for team spaces. It keeps all the information in those pages, making it easy for different teams to refer back to during meetings without having to remember everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feature needs to be improved; it needs to have a lot more capability compared to other stand-alone AI. Navigating the best way to use it is a little bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to document employee reviews and store firm policies in one database. Its flexibility in creating pages keeps me organized and aids team collaboration through a central information source.
