Minimalistic Notion That Works Well for Project Management and Record-Keeping

  • March 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
i do use Notion as a project management tool for my organisation, and for basic tasks such as keeping records and assigning tasks, it does pretty well. Apart from that, as the project volume is currently low, I have not faced any issues until now
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren’t many things I dislike. I really like Notion’s minimalistic look and feel, but at times it can be a bit too minimal for some users. I’m also not fully sure whether Notion will be able to handle high-volume projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps solve our project management needs, since it’s the primary tool we use for managing projects.

Comprehensive Tool for Documentation and Notes

  • March 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for all our internal documentation and notes. I appreciate the comprehensive tools it offers to manage and create documentation. I like the / commands and the ability to format text easily in lists, pages, and templates. I can type /toggle or use markdown from anywhere, which really streamlines my workflow. Notion AI is also quite helpful; I can ask it to help look back on any documentation and it solves for it. The editing capabilities are insane, making it a powerful tool for maintaining notes and larger documentation. For me, the initial setup was extremely easy, and with 100+ folks using it, it manages to serve our team's needs efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think overall it works great, but the new meeting notes feature if would be more accurate and comprehensive it would make the experience much better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for managing and creating comprehensive documentation. Notion AI helps me find information in old notes. The editing features, '/ commands', and markdown enhance my documentation process.

Intuitive Productivity Tool, But Plan Limitations Persist

  • March 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for productivity, collaboration, and project management, and I find it to be a great platform for handling various projects. It's easy and intuitive, and I don't have to navigate between different platforms. What I like most is its simplicity. Documentation is really easy, and Notion AI is also quite helpful, especially for my work in Information Security and Auditing, which requires research and documentation. I find the initial setup of Notion very easy because, as I said, it's intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The granular access, distribution, and approval process isn't that great in the plan I use. Other platforms are less expensive. We have a budget limitation, due to which we're on Plus plan. This doesn't let me assign roles and see the logs and has restricted data security features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies managing various projects and integrates tools, so I don't need to switch platforms. It's intuitive, and the documentation is easy. Notion AI supports my work in information security and auditing by facilitating research and documentation.

Centralized Information, Easy Organization

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a homebase for my team, trackers, and content calendars. It really helps by centralizing information, which is a big plus for us. I like the visual blocks and find the drag-and-drop modules easy to use for organizing resources and playbooks. The organization and page architecture are straightforward, which makes everything easier to manage. I can create dashboards for data or outline SOPs effectively with these features. The initial setup was pretty easy, especially since I'm already familiar with it. Overall, it works well for our team of about 12 people.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the drag & drop is a little finicky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize information for my team, organize types of resources, and outline SOPs. Its visual blocks and drag-and-drop modules make organizing content calendars and dashboards easier.

Facilitate Inter-team Collaboration, Remarkable Simplicity

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's ability to enable cross-functional work with all teams, which enhances collaboration. Updating documents easily and sharing them is really convenient, and I find the tool easy to use. It makes using Notion very simple for different projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be the access to the pages, which are sometimes not so simple. There you go, since not everyone necessarily has access to Notion in the company. With Slack, it's not ideal yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows for better collaboration with all the teams in the company, to work cross-functionally, to easily update documents and share them effortlessly, which is very practical for tracking projects on a daily basis.

Customizable and Feature-Rich, But a Bit Complex

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable Notion is. Even though my workspace is set up for work, I have it themed to a TV show that I like, which makes me just wanna use it more. It just makes it a much more enjoyable experience compared to, like, just having some kind of software that has a bunch of files and documents in it. Being able to embed a bunch of different activities into it, like a little video game or my Spotify playlist, is really nice. Then I have my work files right next to that. And I can also customize the static look of it. It's really just a nice experience. Plus, setting up Notion was super easy for me, especially when it came to building a more work-centered workspace, since I've been using Notion since the beginning. Even back then, it was pretty easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes when I'm in Notion, it can be a little tricky, especially with sub-databases and stuff. Sometimes it's confusing as you try to get more complex with your customization. Also, I think the marketplace could use a little better organization, especially for finding free templates for a work dashboard. The amount of things that pop up isn't always really right, and there could be more personal work templates available compared to the tons for school.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize what I own and keep up with to-do lists. It provides a personal space to organize work, feels like a second brain, and allows personalization, making it a more enjoyable experience.

Well-Structured Information That’s Easy to Navigate

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is how flexible and customizable it is. It allows me to organize information, manage projects, and collaborate with others all in one place. I also really appreciate how intuitive it is to structure workflows and keep everything centralized and easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Notion is that it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, especially when setting up more complex workflows. It also tends to slow down when handling large amounts of data, and some features require manual setup that could be more automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps solve the problem of having information scattered across different tools by centralizing everything in one place. It allows me to manage projects, document processes, and collaborate with my team more efficiently. This benefits me by improving organization, increasing productivity, and making it easier to access and share information quickly.

I wish Notion had full access to tables like Excel or Google Sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing internal docs, facilitating collaboration, and updating status, with the added benefit of ease of use and real-time sync between mobile and web.
