Notion as a Powerful, Customisable Second Brain

  • April 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is wonderful for organising my life and work all in the same place. It’s endlessly customisable and really feels like a space I can use as a second brain. That said, the learning curve isn’t fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion isn’t user-friendly enough, and the support is awful. I ended up losing $60 on my subscription, and they didn’t even get back to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge management is what Notion helps me with. As a researcher and medical student, I have a lot of work and information that I come across and need to return to later for reference. It also helps me keep track of research questions as they come up, along with my general life admin.

Effortless Note-Taking with Intuitive Design

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion very easy to use. It's very intuitive and user-friendly, which I really appreciate. Its clean interface makes organizing ideas, tasks, and workflows feel effortless. Also, the initial setup was very easy for me. These features make a big difference in how I take and organize my meeting notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
So, the meeting notes are very limited for a normal user. I would like to have it as feature without paying for the subscription
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I transcribe and take meeting notes in each meeting with Notion, so I don’t need to remember decisions manually.

Effortless Document Management, But Pricing Concerns

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to organize everything in Notion and how it brings all documents in one place, making it easy to access and well-structured. The full UI of Notion is very intuitive, smooth, and fluid, which I find appealing. I also appreciate the cool markdown features that Notion offers. Its polished look and the cute UI really add to the positive experience. Having everything in one place saves us a lot of time and reduces the need for many conversations we had to have earlier. That's what I love about Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced this personally, but a friend mentioned that if there is a lot of data or many records in a Notion database, it can get laggy. Other than that, the pricing is a little bit high. The per user pricing feels like too much for what is essentially a document hosting app. For organizations like ours, especially in our country, it's too much to pay for what feels like a cute notepad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize our documents, making it easy to access and organize everything in one place. It saves us time and reduces the need for numerous conversations to find documents, while providing secure access to sensitive files.

Notion’s Flexibility and Linked Databases Keep Everything Organized

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion's flexibility is its biggest strength. As a developer and entrepreneur managing my EdTech SaaS, I use it to organize everything from product roadmaps to meeting notes and client documentation. The block-based editor makes it incredibly easy to structure information, and the database views (table, kanban, calendar) let me track tasks and projects in one place. The ability to link databases together and create relational structures is something I haven't found as elegantly done elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance can be sluggish, especially with large databases or complex pages that have many embedded blocks. Loading times on mobile are noticeably slow. The offline mode is also quite limited, which is frustrating when working without a stable internet connection. Additionally, the pricing model becomes expensive when adding team members, which is a pain point for small startups. A more affordable team tier would be very welcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Notion, I was juggling multiple tools — spreadsheets for tracking tasks, Word docs for documentation, and sticky notes for ideas. Everything was scattered. Notion consolidated all of this into one workspace. Now I manage my entire product development lifecycle, from feature planning to sprint tracking and technical documentation, in one place. It has saved me several hours per week and improved collaboration with my team significantly.

Centralized Knowledge Base with Room for free - Awesome

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can control who can see what and what activity I want to give to other people. I also like that whenever I add an update, it sends automatic notifications to everyone who has access to the file, so they revisit the document and keep their information up-to-date.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many features, specially on paid versions. One can get overwhelmed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes our team's process updates, SOPs, and documents under one roof, resolving scattered information across emails and verbal updates.

Seamless Integration with Claude Boosts Notion's Utility

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for both personal and work needs, primarily for organizing and handling AI meeting notes. I really like the integration with Claude, which helps update or build templates and even created a mileage tracker in Notion to monitor my gas usage to Las Vegas and calculate my MPG. The Meeting AI transcription and meeting notes/action items are standout features that save me a lot of time. It’s great for keeping my notes for work and personal projects updated, and the initial setup was easy too, especially when I discovered the integration with Claude.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more templates, so I'm not spending too much time trying to create them myself. Plus, sometimes my pages get buried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for AI meeting notes, which saves time by organizing and extracting action items easily. Integration with Claude helps me build templates and keep project notes updated, like tracking mileage and gas usage.
