What do you like best about the product?
The platform is highly customizable and allows for a centralized workspace. It makes it easy to keep track of various project work streams and documentation in one place, which helps maintain team alignment as the organization grows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup can be time-consuming due to the high number of features and formatting options. It often requires a dedicated effort to ensure the workspace remains organized and intuitive for all team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is primarily solving the problem of fragmented information. By consolidating our notes, tasks, and databases, it reduces the time spent searching for internal resources and helps streamline our day-to-day operations.

Flexible and Powerful, But Slows Down and Can Feel Organized Without Being Useful

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most tools make you adapt to them. Notion works the other way around. A blank page can turn into a quick note, a task system, a database, or even a full operating system for your work, and it still feels like you’re working on the same surface. That continuity matters more than any single feature, because it eliminates the mental reset you usually have to do when switching between tools.

Its real strength is the way structure and flexibility live side by side. You can build something as loose as a daily journal or as strict as a fully relational database, and both feel natural in the same environment. It doesn’t fall apart as you scale up your thinking; if anything, it keeps up and helps sharpen it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a certain softness to its performance. As pages get denser or databases grow more complex, it can start to feel slower than it should. That small delay adds up over time, especially when you’re trying to move quickly or stay in a focused flow.

Then there’s the illusion of completeness. It can look like everything is organized, connected, and under control, but that doesn’t always translate into something genuinely useful. It’s easy to build a beautifully structured system that still doesn’t help you decide or act any faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of my work ends up scattered—notes in one place, tasks in another, ideas somewhere else, and context nowhere. Notion brings all of that onto a single surface where everything can connect. A project isn’t just a checklist; it can hold the thinking, the timeline, the references, and the decisions in one place.

The real benefit isn’t only organization, but continuity. I don’t lose momentum switching between tools or trying to reconstruct context. When I come back to something, it’s already intact and complete. That kind of reduced friction adds up, and the payoff compounds over time.

Super Flexible and Customizable, But Can Feel Slow and Overwhelming

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how flexible and customizable it is. I can organize my work, notes, and projects in a way that truly fits my workflow. The combination of databases, pages, and templates makes it easy to keep everything connected and visually clear. It’s one of the few tools that adapts to me instead of forcing me to adapt to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel a bit slow or heavy at times, especially with large databases or when switching between pages. It also has a learning curve — the flexibility is great, but it can be overwhelming for new users. Sometimes I just want to do something simple, and it takes more steps than expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me centralize all my information in one place. Instead of using separate tools for notes, tasks, documents, and project tracking, I can manage everything within a single workspace. This solves the problem of having my work scattered across different apps. As a result, I stay more organized, save time, and have a clearer overview of my priorities and progress.

Notion’s Limitless Templates and Publish-Online Workflows

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion can genuinely help you do just about anything. You can build something from scratch, or choose a template and jump right in—whether that’s setting up a calendar, planning a marketing schedule, or creating a go-to guide for something you already know well.

What I like best is that you can create something and publish it online. I also love that I can build workflows by making folders and new links that lead to more specific information about what you're creating. There's no limit!
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can be pretty hard to understand at first because you’re starting from a blank page. You need a bit of creativity to get the most out of it, but there’s almost always a template that can help you build what you need. On top of that, there are tons of people out there creating templates for just about anything you might be looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, it’s been helpful to have the how-to guide template from a course I just bought. I look it up each week so I can get the most out of the information provided. I have also used it extensively in a previous job.
