Robust, Secure, and Perfect for Growing Teams

I like the way Notion allows me to keep all of my team's information in one secure, easily accessible place. It's robust connectivity allows my team to push updates to our website to ensure it's always accurate and up to date. With Notion's tools, I am able to provide our audience of subject experts with the right information the moment it updates. The initial setup was very easy for my team, and Notion's robust and connected software allows our information to grow as our team and responsibilities expand.

Notion’s Flow Makes Everything Feel Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is the flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that there’s a learning curve. Once you get past that, though, it becomes a seamless tool to use. You do have to learn quite a bit before you can really figure out how to make your own process smoother and more seamless. Overall, I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth, and the investment is worth it. I also love the shareability of Notion and how much information it can hold.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my work, it helps me create playbooks for my team that I can share quickly and seamlessly across multiple departments. That way, new people who join our team, or anyone who needs support with events they haven’t worked on before, can rely on Notion playbooks to guide them throughout their onboarding and overall new-job experience. The AI is helpful tool as well, I usually brain dump and then AI will refine what I am hoping to say in a cohesive and concise way.
Transformative AI Integration with Powerful Productivity Boost
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with AI in Notion. It transforms the AI from a series of disconnected events to a continuation of events, which provides a level of continuity in my tasks. This integration really helps eliminate a lot of the meta work in my day-to-day activities, making me more productive. I spend less time accomplishing tasks and enhance my impact on what I can do, communicate, and focus on each day. The structured and retrievable data that AI can work with is a significant advantage, allowing me to share my goals verbally and have the AI use past data to create meaningful new data, saving me hours or even weeks of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the logical progression with Notion, as well as AI, is trying to create this interconnected interaction amongst many systems and continuity of interaction, and to do that, that structured data is going to have to bleed into different areas of the industry. Approaches towards data structure need to move from simplistic to more advanced structures. Being able to make those relationships and having AI do it in a proactive way would be advantageous. Initially, the setup was a little confusing, especially from a business background, even though I had some tech education and interest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to structure and retrieve data for business and personal tasks. It integrates with AI, creating a hub for managing data, which saves me significant time and enhances productivity by reducing meta work.
Great Product Overall
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and how easy it is for the team to collaborate together
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to find the features I need to organize docs. For example, the other day it took me a bit longer than expected to find colomns to break the doc into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping to put everything in one place - company wise. This way things don't get lost in the sauce and now we have a clear structure of company polices, organized by department
Intuitive UI, but Complex Initial Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's user interface and its flexibility in letting me customize what I want to do and how I want to edit it. It's great that I can integrate my goals with many available tools and link Notion with various applications and websites. The integration of AI in Notion helps a lot as it assists me in understanding and managing my thoughts better, which contributes to achieving my goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that the things that can be improved in Notion are how to deal with the user experience. It's a bit complex at first, so improving it to better fit our needs and making it easier to adjust would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me create accurate plans using mind maps, integrates AI to manage my thoughts, and helps me organize and achieve my goals.
Powerful databases but limited template management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the connection of databases in Notion because it prevents isolating documents and information. Everything works like a single brain with its neural connections. Moreover, being able to create a single source of truth that is easily maintained and shareable is valuable to me. I also appreciate relying on Notion's AI to synthesize data or retrieve other information, as well as organizing my tasks and tracking my career plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Layouts are time-consuming and lack flexibility. Managing templates is annoying: I would like to be able to create templates based on an already existing page, and also have access to my template database. I find that too many things are done from scratch. I don't like the marketplace templates that don't meet the need or are really basic and ugly. It's like being on those sites where you download bad PowerPoint presentation templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- The sharing of knowledge. I create a single source of truth with Notion, supported by AI to synthesize and retrieve data. Database connections prevent information isolation, organizing them like a single brain. - Organization within the team and other departments of the company. This allows for structuring processes.
Great At-a-Glance Project Tracking and Team Management
What do you like best about the product?
Ways of tracking project at a glance and managing it what team members
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to navigate and can feel very overwhelming at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management internally
Versatile and Customizable, but Could Improve AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion is very versatile and customizable, which is really important for structuring my pages just the way I want for different projects. The abundance of templates makes it even easier to get started and adapt them to my needs. I also appreciate the embedded AI feature that enhances its functionality. The initial setup was easy, making it hassle-free to integrate into my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, and the AI is a bit weak, especially for note-taking since it fails to recognize context. When transcribing meeting notes, it doesn’t auto switch languages, sticking to whatever language is manually set instead of the original. The translation quality is really bad, and without access to the raw transcript, the notes can become ineligible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my thoughts, collaborate with others, and share content. I can transcribe meetings and adapt pages to my needs, which vary from project to project.
Intuitive and Customizable, But Needs Better Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy-to-use, intuitive, and clean look of Notion. It acts like a nice whiteboard for me to express ideas and layout things without getting bogged down in the details. I also appreciate the templates that help organize thoughts in ways that make sense, and I can customize them to fit my exact needs. It's a great app overall. The AI Writing Assistant is the best. Great for knowledge management!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more innate how things were linked together. Like how to get to certain pages, I wish I could save tabs easily or have a bookmarks bar with pages to get to—sometimes I'm in a page and I feel like I'm on an island. There are a lot of challenges—importing all the data to start. They want it to be a central hub for everything for our company and I'm doing a lot of the lifting, so it's a lot of info to copy and paste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies layout creation, making it easier than manually copying and pasting. Its templates organize my thoughts, allowing customization to suit my needs. The clean interface acts like a whiteboard, helping express ideas without getting lost in details. Project Management is how we use it mainly and its helped a lot.
