Streamlined Our Workflow with Notion

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Notion for my project management because it lets me see all my calendars in one place, which is something Apple Calendar and Google Calendar couldn't do. I love the AI feature that helps me process different tasks I'm working on, and I'm enjoying playing around with building private pages and adding elements like calendars and databases. Notion's integration with Zapier and Google is really seamless, making it a good fit with the tools I already use. It's also affordable, and the price compared to what I was paying for a virtual assistant made it an easy decision to sign up for a year. I really love the databases and AI features, even though I'm using the calendar the most. I've also worked Notion into my daily routine, logging in to view my calendar and mail. I have the desktop, browser, and app versions on both my phones, and it's been easy to set up. I've already recommended Notion to everybody, so it's definitely a 10 in my book.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still pretty new to Notion, so I haven't found things that don't work as well. I do plan to change it from the dark interface. Hopefully, I can do that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to see all my calendars in one place, unlike Apple or Google Calendar. It helps me manage databases and notes for various projects in one location. I love its AI features and the calendar tool is probably what I use most.

Powerful Marketplace Templates, Great Notion Agents & Integrations

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
the marketplace templates for productivity, career and a lot more. Notion agents are also great and the ability to connect to different platforms like slack, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
because it has a ton of functions and ability, it becomes bulky and takes a lot of time to load sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
everything in one place rather than using several different website and platforms for your day-to-day

Powerful Knowledgebase for Growing Companies (but not for the tech-unsavvy)

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn the basics, worthwhile to learn the advanced features. It is a great centralized knowledgebase for any growing company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop application feels like (and is) just a webpage wrapped up as a standalone app. It still freezes, requires refreshing, and otherwise loads like a website. No telephone support makes it difficult for older/more traditional companies to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My business depends on lots of institutional knowledge which is currently locked up in people's brains. Getting it out into Notion means that we can then iterate upon that knowledge, tweak the way we do things, and carefully document each new phase of our business's growth. It speeds up onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency across the board.

Ideal for notes and organization, but with a learning curve and improvable mobile experience

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it serves as a space where you can take notes, plan projects, and have everything organized in your calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it feels a bit overwhelming, it's not that easy to use. I prefer its use on iPad or PC, rather than the mobile version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to create lists, boards, and calendars to track tasks and projects, to be more organized in all my personal and work duties.

    Computer Software

Flexible Workspace, Easy Integration

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to plan projects and take notes, and at work, we use it as a knowledge base. Notion solves the problem of scattered information, putting my notes and team knowledge in one searchable place. I like how flexible Notion is; it adapts to whatever I need without forcing a rigid structure. I don’t need to switch between different tools, and having all the information in one place makes it suitable for integration with other tools. It connects smoothly with the apps we already use, like Slack and n8n. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some apps don't integrate like self-hosted Bitwarden, and we had to use n8n for that. Large pages or databases can take some time to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to plan projects and take notes. It solves the problem of scattered info, centralizing my notes and team knowledge in one searchable place.

The ultimate 'External Brain' for juggling work, school, and a side hustle

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable it is. I've always been into planners and organization, but Notion allows me to build a system that works exactly the way my brain works. Whether I'm organizing digital files or planning out household projects, I’m not stuck with a rigid format—I can build the tool I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be steep. Sometimes I feel like I spend more time ‘building’ the perfect system or making it look pretty than actually doing the work. With my work schedule and classes, I need something that works right out of the box, and Notion often requires a lot of tinkering to get it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Problem: The biggest problem I had was information fragmentation. Between managing my degree at WGU, running my resale business, and handling household projects like our upcoming move, my 'to-dos' were scattered across five different apps and sticky notes.

The Benefit: Notion solves this by acting as a single operating system for my life. It benefits me by drastically reducing my mental load—I don't have to wonder where I wrote something down. I know exactly where my class notes, inventory lists, and house-hunting checklists live.

Notion AI: Game Changer for Meeting Notes

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the Notion AI notetaker is simple and easy to use. It provides very detailed summaries and breaks out the notes nicely, which is really helpful. It's also been a game changer for my team in customer success—we're all now using it for meetings, and I'm even considering using the Notion AI notetaker over the note-taking service provided by the platform we use for meetings. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, I would rate it a five out of five.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes as of right now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI notetaker resolves my problem of taking notes across different platforms during customer meetings. It's simple and provides detailed summaries, making it a game changer for my team.

Intuitive and AI-Powered for Curriculum Creation

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly Notion is, especially for first-time users like me. It's the easiest software to use compared to others like Chat, Copilot, and Canva. I found the instructions very concise and straightforward, so much so that I feel confident my daughters, who are in elementary school, could use it as well. I also appreciate the AI component, which helped me create a balanced curriculum by adding sections and reminders easily, even referencing things I hadn't considered originally. The setup was straightforward, and I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of ease, thanks to the simple help guides available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one thing that could be improved is maybe more instruction on how to use the different boxes that you add. When I wanted to add a to-do checklist, it didn't come up with as much detail as I wanted. It was a little bit time-consuming compared to other things that were easy to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to easily add sections and reminders to create a balanced curriculum. The AI helps develop ideas I hadn’t considered, making the process smoother for someone doing this for the first time.

Versatile Tool with Fantastic Flexibility

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm loving the new AI features in Notion. I love the flexibility of databases and being able to model your mental processes any way that makes most sense to you. I'm able to model my mental picture of task management into database flows and then have AI assistance over the top.
What do you dislike about the product?
The charting feature of databases in Notion isn't super useful. I wish Notion calendar got a little more love. Charts could just be more robust and flexible, sort of like Grafana for building dashboards. With Notion calendar, I'd love to create items in a database for any event on my calendar, whether I'm the organizer or not, without it being a shared thing. I'd also like calendar events to automatically create items in a database so I always have somewhere to go to prepare for a meeting. I use Make.com to create items in a database for each calendar item, but it's clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing my entire life, including task management, a knowledge base, and project management. I can model my mental picture of tasks into database flows with AI assistance.
