Finally, a Tool That Adapts to My Workflow, Not the Reverse
What do you like best about the product?
The unparalleled modularity. Notion acts as a flexible 'no-code' database that allows me to build custom workflows, from simple documentation to complex project management systems. It adapts to my thought process rather than forcing me into a rigid structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a true offline mode and occasional performance lag. While the desktop app is solid, the mobile experience can be slow, especially with large databases. Not being able to fully access or edit my workspace without a stable internet connection is a significant limitation for on-the-go productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of tool fragmentation. By consolidating our internal wiki, project management, and meeting notes into one platform, it drastically reduces context switching. The main benefit is having a single source of truth where documentation lives right next to the tasks, keeping the engineering team aligned and efficient.
How I manage strategy and execution in one place
What do you like best about the product?
As a founder, I use Notion daily to organize strategy, product ideas, and team workflows at RankWatch. It’s flexible, fast, and replaces multiple tools without slowing execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion’s flexibility can feel overwhelming at first, and it takes time to design the perfect setup—but once configured, it becomes a powerful long-term system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered tools by bringing docs, planning, and collaboration into one workspace. It helps me stay aligned on strategy, execution, and team communication without context switching.
Notion: The Ultimate All-in-One Workspace
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Notion keeps everything in one place, allowing me to just go to one page and explore everything in-depth without needing to create multiple pages. The linking system between pages is just amazing, making it easy to add links and navigate where I want to go. I appreciate the ease of accessibility in reaching my desired locations quickly. Additionally, I find Notion to be a very advanced notetaker, which is incredibly useful for my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the code editors in Notion sometimes are kinda glitchy. The code editors is something which can be better for me to kind of copy code or maybe involve a quick code processor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps everything in one place, making it easy for me to access and link pages. I track tasks and project progress, upskill by taking notes, and share info easily with my team.
Ai Writing assistant, Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's database displays as they allow me to see different views and manage project management in various ways. I especially enjoy using the Calendar view because I'm a visual person, and it helps me manage a content calendar effectively. It's really easy to move items around in this view, which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find .csv file compatibility a bit of an issue. When I import them, sometimes the AI bot doesn't pick up on the nuances of the files. It would be useful to have a button to select either the first row or first column of every .csv as the title and sort features. Also, while I've been using Notion for a while, I know for others on my team, the learning curve is steeper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize ideas and proofread. The different views, like the calendar view, enhance my project management by allowing me to visually manage content and move items around easily.
AI Note-Taking and Summaries That Effortlessly Automate Meeting Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Automating meeting notes and analysis with the AI note taking and summary feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is very difficult to navigate and it sometimes very difficult to figure out even simple functions. I have had to use AI to help me set up my system and it was still difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating note taking, transcripts, and meeting summaries. The fact that I can plug that into Claude Co-work and compare against company confluence documents, other meeting notes, slack responses is highly valuable.
Seamless Transition and Top-Tier AI Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Notion provides a balance of readability and consumability between humans and AI. It's great that we can create pages in a traditional wiki-like structure and also have embedded databases. Having hidden pages with long-form data dumps is another feature I like. I'm optimistic about having the best of both worlds in terms of readability for both AI and the human members of my team. I also find the compatibility with cloud integration impressive, which allows me to have AI-ready articles and content right within Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm having some challenges with Notion. I would love for Notion calendar to be integrated into Notion MCPs so that Claude can get a better sense of what's on my calendar across multiple devices and platforms. That alone would be a huge win for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solved our issues with Confluence by providing a more user-friendly platform for structured data and AI integration. It feels more human with features like emojis, and its integration with Cloud AI is a significant enhancement for my workflows.
Flexible, Natural Thought Organization Without Rigid Rules
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it lets me organize my thoughts in the same way I naturally think about them. The guidelines for organization aren’t rigid or prescriptive—it’s really about what you can imagine and how you want to structure it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI writing-improvement feature felt similar to other products out there, like Gemini, where you can provide a sentence and then have it improve the writing.
Also, when using an AI prompt, I wish you could choose what to keep and what to delete, instead of only having the options to delete everything or keep everything.
Also, when using an AI prompt, I wish you could choose what to keep and what to delete, instead of only having the options to delete everything or keep everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me imagine my organization in a format-free way. There are fewer rigid rules imposed by the product, and it feels more like I can create my own rules and mapping to fit how I want to work.
Effortless Task Management with AI Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the AI writing assistant in Notion can create things for you when you ask it to, which is really neat because I can tell it exactly what I want. If I want a chart made with certain columns, it'll do it for me, which is really nice so I don't have to manually create it myself from scratch. The initial setup of Notion was really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed that there isn't a feature to highlight a row, which Excel does have. That's really the main thing that makes me a little annoyed with Notion. I think that would be a very helpful feature if it was added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives me a visual view of my daily tasks, helping me check things off, track meetings, and remember people I need to follow up with.
Notion review
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to build custom systems that match how I actually think. I can capture everything from quick diary entries to deep market research in one place, with databases that grow organically over time. Pages can accumulate information (like tracking everything I know about a person or iteratively refining an idea), and the tagging/search makes it all retrievable later. It's replaced multiple tools and my own memory with a single searchable knowledge base
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app inconsistencies - features work differently between Mac and iOS (meeting transcription auto-prompts, auto-save locations). Also ran into subscription recognition bugs where the iOS app didn't realize I was subscribed until I clicked around for a while. The Apple in-app purchase vs direct Notion subscription confusion was frustrating - different feature access depending on where you bought it. Would love a widget to trigger AI meeting notes directly instead of navigating through multiple screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It consolidates scattered information into one retrievable system. Instead of forgetting what I discussed with someone, losing track of half-formed ideas, or re-researching the same market intelligence, I have a single source of truth that accumulates over time. I can dictate diary entries, track what people care about for better relationships, refine business ideas iteratively, and aggregate industry research that directly informs strategic decisions at my healthcare tech company. It's replaced multiple apps and my own unreliable memory with a searchable knowledge base that actually grows more valuable the longer I use it.
Great AI Transcription and a Handy Notion Calendar
What do you like best about the product?
The AI transcription is good, and I also like the Notion calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with a student subscription, I still can’t use all the Notion features, and there are limits on using the AI tool. On top of that, the Windows app also seems to load very slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps a lot, especially with the Notion calendar. I just have to add my syllabus, and Notion AI retrieves the necessary information for my courses, like due dates and other important details across different classes. It’s made my work organization feel one step ahead every time.
