Flexible Like LEGO Bricks, But Hard to Keep Up With New Features
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very flexible and has a lot of ways you can use it. Like giving you a multitude of lego bricks in different shapes and sizes that you can use to build as you see fit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to see the newest features. Say, I really looked into Notion and its features around 2024, but haven't kept up with the newest stuff they have. I don't know what the answer is--a place to review features? A refresher look?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team first explored Notion as a task/project management tool as well as a note-taking repository.
I was able ot use it for project management for my team as well as introduce it for another team (our IT team).

Effortless Documentation with Powerful AI Search
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion easy to use, especially for documentation. I like Notion AI and the search capabilities which work really well for me. The initial setup was very easy too.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for work documentation because it's easy to use. Notion AI and the search function enhance my documentation tasks.
Streamlined Task Management with Customization Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for task lists and transparency with other teams. It lets others see what I'm working on instead of reaching out every second and keeps me organized. I like that it's clean and you can create your own templates. I can share my list with others and collaborate by including their names. I use the task-building templates feature, which I find valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to create new views or to connect it with data sets to create graphs. I don't know how to do that. It was intimidating at first, so I didn't use it until now. My colleague created my first template view. I want to learn to build complex views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for task lists and it helps maintain transparency with other teams. It keeps me organized and lets others see what I'm working on without constant outreach.
Outstanding Flexibility and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I think what I like most about Notion is the flexibility and the things that can be done within Notion. It's much easier because, for example, when I'm creating an SOP or making a policy or a guide, I can ask Notion AI to create it without having to redo everything. I use Notion both in my personal and professional life, and it helps me unify everything in one place, acting as a hub. Notion is easier to use and aesthetically more pleasing compared to Google Docs, in addition to being easier to read. I like how I can read something faster in Notion than in Google Docs. I also value the automations we can do within Notion, which is not possible in Google Sheets or Google Docs. Finally, I always recommend Notion because it is easy to use and makes life easier for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the part about formulas in Notion could be improved. When I manage my personal finances, I use a finance hub and there are templates available, but I feel that I can't handle the tables like in Excel. I can't duplicate, multiply, divide, or add to get the clear visualization I need. For example, I can't replace Google Sheets with Notion because it doesn't offer the same functionality. Additionally, at the beginning, setting up Notion was complicated and it was difficult to understand everything I could do with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my personal and work life. It helps me with reminders and to stay organized. I integrate everything into Notion, making it my daily work hub. It is more aesthetic and easier to use than Google Docs.
Ease and Organization With Great Value
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Notion and the way it structures things. It is very easy to use and allows for creating standardizations easily for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated with tables in Notion, as they don't work very well in documents. I would like there to be a functionality similar to Excel within Notion, especially for table formatting.

I use Notion to prepare documents, organize my day-to-day and teams. It solves documentation problems and helps me prepare meetings.
Versatile Workspace with Seamless Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI meeting notes feature as it makes capturing relevant notes to tasks and projects easy. I also appreciate the ease of customization on project boards or databases, and the simplicity of content creation with plenty of markdown features. The ability to move content around easily or structure it as needed is a plus. Notion's integrations and the notification system stand out too, making it a very integrated experience in one workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the permission settings in Notion, which make it difficult to edit or change specific fields on a database. I'd like the ability to make fields mandatory. More integration with MCP would also be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for content creation and sharing, task and workflow management, and much more. AI meeting notes help capture relevant notes, and customization eases project management. Notion organizes everything in one workspace, unlike Jira, which lacked an integrated experience.

Structured and Versatile, but Complex at the Beginning
What do you like best about the product?
I love the design of Notion and the ability to have different functions, like Excel and Word, in the same space. Additionally, I really appreciate the databases in Notion, which allow for the creation of complex and flexible systems for data storage. The addition of AI offers endless possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the side "panel" not always intuitive in how it is organized (like settings placed under pages). Not easy to configure initially, it remains a very complex tool for certain tasks.

Versatile and Smooth, But Tables Need Work

I like the many options available to arrange and display the information in Notion. It offers a huge level of versatility, allowing me to represent different kinds of content, whether it's simple to-do lists, traditional text layouts, or more complex diagrams and tasks. The ability to import and export materials with different statuses is also very valuable. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion was smooth and easy, with no obstacles at all.
