Streamlined Document Management, Needs Database UX Improvement

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for organizing my marketing documents. It has become a hub where I can collate all my projects efficiently. The structure of layers of pages within pages is really helpful for organizing and accessing information quickly. I find it easier to search and draw from my documents using Notion than with Google Drive. I also appreciate the ability to use AI to access and manage my documents, and having CheckGPT connected allows further integration and utility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the database user experience isn't totally intuitive. And, yeah, maybe some better easier education in the app about how to use databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as a hub for document review and knowledge management, making it quicker to access and search documents. It enhances project visibility and replaces Google Drive for document collation.

Centralized Collaboration with Intuitive Shortcomings

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how tidy everything is in Notion, and it allows me to have everything in one place. It's also great that everything is there for other people to see, providing access that other workmates have to common projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion's not very intuitive. It's hard to find things, and it's not easy to create pages or know where things are at first sight. The initial setup wasn't very easy; we had to do some training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to have everything in one place, keeping things tidy and accessible for workmates on common projects.

Versatile and User-Friendly, But Slow with Large Databases

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the versatility of Notion for both work and personal use, as it effectively handles project management, knowledge databases, and list management. I find it simple to use, which makes it convenient for organizing tasks, and the database feature is particularly valuable because it helps structure information efficiently. The initial setup was very easy, making the overall experience smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that big databases with more than 1000 items are slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for project management, knowledge database and sharing, and list management.

Flexible and Collaborative with Limited Automations

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for project management and tasks for the marketing team. It helps get everything in the same place, and everyone can see what other people are doing and work together on transversal projects. It simplifies complex projects. I like the flexibility of the tool, and the use of emojis is a fun addition. The knowledge base is great too. Compared to Jira, Notion is more flexible and friendly. The initial setup was very easy since I had used it before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automations are very limited, and I can't add logic as I'd like to, for example, setting conditions like 'if date is before or after date' to automatically tag a column. I also find that interacting with just a part of a database requires paying for a full seat, even for a very limited contributor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize everything in one place, make complex projects simpler, and help the team collaborate on transversal projects. It offers more flexibility and friendliness compared to Jira.

Intuitive and Integrative with Reasonable Pricing

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as our internal documentation software, and I really like the very fluid UI and all the integrations it offers. The integrations make it easy to get updates from tools like Jira and to receive Slack notifications when needed. I appreciate the frequent feature updates that happen seemingly every other month. This means we always have access to the latest tools to improve our workflow. Since everything is stored in Notion, I don't have to spend time training new hires, which is a huge time saver. The initial setup felt as easy as a fresh summer breeze, and overall, Notion comes with a nice, gentle price tag.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price tag on the enterprise is a bit too stiff for a medium size company, since we are big enough to get a decent discount and thus we are stuck in a bit of 'manual security checklist'
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize our documentation, which avoids scattering information. Its integrations allow instant updates from Jira and Slack notifications, and the smooth UI and frequent updates enhance its usability.

Flexible, Intuitive, but Challenging Database Management

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as my personal knowledge base, task list, notetaker, shipping list, and article highlight storage. I appreciate Notion's flexibility, which makes it easy to create a structure for storing whatever I need. Setting up Notion was super easy, and I didn't find any friction when setting up my private space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think recently, mainly the interaction design is a little bit more challenging when you are managing databases. Everything is in the side panel. I often get confused by what is a grouping and what is an attribute and where I can add attributes, where I can control attribute values, where I control visibility. It's usually a lot of clicking and back and forth. Before I set things up. But then, ultimately, things work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a single place to store all my notes. Its flexibility allows me to easily create structures for storing whatever I need.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This application allows you to manage tasks, track project progress, and centralize all information in one place.

Effortless Team Collaboration

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for planning work with my team and sharing information on joint projects. It makes it very easy to align our timelines between different communication channels, and I use it to relay tasks to people in different locations by creating tasks for them with all the necessary information. Notion excels at information sharing between team members and allows us to comment on each other's work when reviews are needed. I really like the easy sharing of information between team members. Embedding different files like PDFs and videos is very useful as it makes it easier to refer to outside material. The initial setup of Notion was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced minor connectivity issues from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to easily align timelines, relay tasks to remote team members, create and share task information, and comment on work for reviews. It simplifies sharing information and embedding files.
