Super Flexible Workspace for Product Workflows and Documentation

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Super flexible: pages + databases + views (board/table/calendar) let us adapt Notion to our product workflows.

Great for product documentation: PRDs, decisions, research notes, release notes — all linked and easy to navigate.

Async collaboration: comments, mentions, and history make it easy to move fast without meetings.

Templates & standardization: we built templates for specs, RFCs, retros, and launch checklists and saved a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can be hit-or-miss. With large databases or heavier pages, things can start to feel slow.

Permissions at scale are also tricky: managing access across many teams and spaces takes real discipline to keep it consistent.

Offline support is limited, and it isn’t always reliable when I’m traveling or dealing with a poor connection.

It can also become messy over time. Without clear naming conventions and defined ownership, it’s easy to end up with duplicates and outdated pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s become a single source of truth for us: PRDs, research, decisions, roadmaps, and release notes are all connected in one place. That means less time spent searching and fewer misunderstandings.

Alignment across teams is faster, too. Product, Design, Tech, and Ops can comment in the same doc and stay on the same page with the same updates, which cuts down on meetings that are only there to sync.

Execution feels more consistent. Using templates for specs, RFCs, retros, and launch checklists standardizes how we work, so we’re not reinventing the wheel every time.

Handoffs and onboarding are also smoother. New teammates ramp up faster because the history, context, and decisions are documented and easy to follow.

And it reduces “tribal knowledge” risk. If someone is out or leaves, the knowledge doesn’t disappear with them.

Daily and weekly planning has boosted my productivity but the interface still needs improvement

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Notion is for planning the day and marking the tasks which I have to do and also planning the entire week.

When I plan my week, I note down all the tasks I have to do and separate them day-wise in Notion. Once the tasks are complete, I check them in Notion.

What is most valuable?

Notion offers excellent features for taking notes and planning the day.

I appreciate the way Notion organizes things, and I value that I can write my points and then read and discuss them later.

Notion has positively impacted my organization by helping me manage productivity. My productivity has increased because I can plan my tasks, and very little work spills over. Most of my work is completed because Notion keeps all the required work readily available.

The specific outcome related to this productivity increase is improvement in productivity.

What needs improvement?

Notion can be improved by making the user interface more interactive, as it seems rather basic.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Notion for about two years.

What other advice do I have?

Notion is a good tool that can be taken as a productivity improving solution. I would rate this review a seven out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Quick and Efficient with Room for Improvement

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for taking meeting notes and storing 1:1 meeting decisions. I really like how fast it is, how quickly it opens and navigates. The additions of images and videos and search feature is something I enjoy as well. I'm impressed with its ability for quick jotting sessions and the very nice structuring of text, which I couldn't achieve in other text editors. The initial setup was pretty painless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there's issues with the bullet point lists. When there's a selection in the bullet points, the TAB doesn't work consistently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for quick jotting sessions and its nice structuring of text that I couldn't achieve in other editors.

The Best Tool for Structured Thinking

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most is the ability to centralize and manage various types of information using their powerful database features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app can feel a bit sluggish at times. I've noticed it takes quite a while to load, especially when a page becomes content-heavy or includes large databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the challenge of organizing complex information. By using its powerful database features, I can manage multiple projects collectively in a structured way. The biggest benefit for me is the mental clarity it provides; I no longer feel overwhelmed by a mess of unorganized data.

Centralized Documentation Hub, Slight Redundancies

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion serves as our warehouse of documentation, making it simple for everyone to have access to info and ensure we remain consistent and aligned. It's a great tool for sharing information and a valuable resource for employees. I appreciate that it's fairly simple to use after a while of first being introduced to it, and it acts as a one-stop shop for any information an employee might need, serving as the single source of truth of info for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that I miss out on a lot of the email feature because I already use Slack and Google Mail as a company. So it's very redundant to have Notion email. I would do away with that. Also, because it's a feature that is somewhat hidden if you don't go searching for it, and I have missed a lot of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows my team and the company to share information and document processes. It's a one-stop shop for employees to get information as the single source of truth.

Fast Team Collaboration, but Missing the Old Formatting Shortcuts

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it used to have some shortcuts for formatting that I am not able to use any more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
creating a shared reference. It gives our team a single source of truth that can be accessed by individuals as well as other applications

Flexibility Shines, Integration Falls Short

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for both work and personal organization. It helps keep my personal to-dos organized and serves as a knowledge repository for my company. I really like Notion's flexibility, especially in creating charts, databases, sorting views, and so on. The initial setup was easy, and it works well for creating dedicated spaces for new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't do great with MCP. They don't have an MCP server for Claude to talk to. My team is trying to switch to Confluence because of this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep my personal todos organized and as a knowledge repository for my company, with every new project having a Notion space.

AI Note Generation Eases Meeting Multitasking

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the AI note generator in Notion. It really helps me because I otherwise would have to multitask during a meeting and then clean up the notes afterward, but this does it all for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t love how the window is set up, too many tabs and features, and it can be hard to use in a simple way. I can do basic things like take notes, but it does a lot of things that I don’t really use fully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me transcribe meetings and generate notes, eliminating the need to multitask during meetings and clean up notes afterward.

The Perfect Knowledge Hub for Seamless Collaboration

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration aspect of Notion and the simplicity of its user interface. It's extremely easy to collaborate on pages, share them, create new pages, and structure them properly. We use Notion as a company knowledge hub to save everything regarding our internal processes, and it helps us onboard new team members and store all the information that allows us to operate efficiently every day. Notion provides a more organized space to save information, avoiding the waste of time looking for documents and knowing precisely where to find the needed information. The initial setup was extremely easy for us because we were already familiar with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get hard to navigate across pages and keep them updated after a while
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a company knowledge hub to save information on internal processes and onboard new team members efficiently. It organizes our information, saving time searching for documents.
